It is not her finest hour, but the talent is undeniable. I look forward to her appearence in a full opera like la boheme, or la traviata. But so far she has avoided it , due to Education, but please, she allready sings like an Angel, how Much more Can she improve?

During her short life she sang in a few staged operas and more frequently in musicals. Major operatic roles included Pamina in the Magic Flute and of course Galatea in Acis and Galatea. Minor roles included Barbarina in the Marriage of Figaro and Esmeralda in the Bartered. Ride. She was auditioned and chosen for the role of Gilda in a filmed version of Rigoletto, but that film was never made - a casualty I think of the Covid pandemic. Her ambition was to sing Violetta in La Traviata , but her mentor warned her against doing so while her voice was still developing, then came the pandemic and soon after that, cancer. Btw, I think she sings beautifully here, but the recording was made on a phone from at least halfway back in the hall. Here in this video the sound is a bit better than in Les oisants de la charmille.There has to be made a recital in a proper house,an opera where the sound will be appropriate in order for us to trully listen to her voice and make the correct assumptions.She is a world class artist,give her an appropriate place that she will be trully able to showcase her vocal gift.She is only singing in churches and halls for God's sake!!!

I suppose the Lights engineer called in sick that day, since the lighting of the scene was odd, Patricia was lighted from below and the audience had a lot of Contre-jour from those strong lights behind! Not to mention the huge bright white banner behind. It's a miracle that my camera could keep up with this environment.
