It wasn't until earlier this year that heard of Maestra Janeckova's passing. In my native United States of America, the commercial television networks generally avoid any reporting the deaths of opera singers singers. Breast cancer is the most prevalent type for the young and active. Angelina Jolie had both breasts removed as a precaution since it ran in her family. They did reconstructive augmentation to where you can't tell. I'm sure our wonderful and talented godess will make the right decision in going forward.

it is so hard & sad to imagine that the body of the beautiful patricia janeckova, now lies lifeless & her eyes permanently closed! if one was to describe an angel, i think many people would name patricia! may i suggest that an autobiography be written about pj, followed by a film & maybe a stage show! patricia has many videos & songs to her name, which must surely be available to purchase soon! the whole of this concert & the 2016 new year eve concert, which includes 5 songs, are two such performances which should be released - along with a 'greatest hits type compilation album!! also, a cd featuring songs sung in english, would be a way to introduce her name to the west!! 'once upon a time in the west' 'ecstasy of gold', (any language), 'dancing queen', 'over the rainbow', 'memory', ''think of me', 'summertime'' 'i feel pretty', 'white christmas', 2 songs from, 'lord of the rings'!

Zerlina is, I think, a bit of an innocent, who comes very close to being corrupted by the Don, but thankfully escapes his clutches. She also knows how to wrap Masetto round her little finger!

She has performed Despina with an Olomouc-based opera group. Many representations throughout Moravia-silesia in 2019. Plus a special invitation to a special representation during some festival in Prague in January 2020. Unfortunately, we only have a photograph of Patricia as she plays the part where Despina is disguised as a notary. Looked hilarious.
