at the same time, it seems Patrick likes ruffling Robin's feathers as much as she's grown to kinda like his attention. even when he's talking and flirting with Emily, he's still badgering Robin. she just happens to be nearby, and he keeps dropping references and glances her way. he said he likes surprises, and the more he pokes Robin, the more sides she shows him. ;)

I think they were just sizing up Patrick with every possible love interest Carly, Emily, Elizabeth have been single ..they would have figured out who would work just to see if they could keep the character.

Jameelia Moonrise I think the whole reason Robin was jealous that she figured Patrick wouldnot be interested in her because she’s HIV positive, because I think she just assumed that any guy that she may like would be interested in her little did she know he could care less about her being HIV-positive...
