Kawhi is a guy most athletes should learn from. He has the fame and doesn't need to flunt it. He's not disrespectful even when he gets terrible questions and he always gives respect to the opposition. That Game 6 he could have gotten 50 points but he saw they were already beat and didn't see the need to take more shots. He's very modest and if you Spurs fans believe Kawhi was at fault still. Then you must not be intelligent. He listened to the team's doctors. He played 9 games that season but still felt the pain then he goes for a second opinion then realised how bad the injury was. A quiet guy like that. It takes a while for him to warm up to you and trust you but when you break that trust things change immediately. He's still limping till date. He hasn't moved the way in did during his Spurs days. Arthritic knees, you'd know cos he's shots usually hits the front of the rim and that's due to sore knees. Kawhi is a guy to learn from if you get that fame.
@MarkLaw13
@MarkLaw13 2 жыл бұрын
@@krizsurya1 He wanted to leave when he was presented with the opportunity which was when the team was misbehaving.. You will know Spurs were at fault cos Manu and Tony never speak but just like that they go to the media to talk and lambast Kawhi to make him out to be a villain. ESPN, Undisputed and other media outlets did that. They said he was rubbish, he's a pretender and he's nothing without Spurs. Blah blah blah. This dude didn't say anything. He's not one to go back and forth. What's the point? To cause more drama. He kept quiet. He gets traded to Toronto. He gets laughed at. They said DeMar will be better than him cos he's under Pops. He starts playing for Raptors, he gets treated by the refs as a nobody not getting calls that other stars will get. He gets his second technical cos Wimslow who played for Miami Heat basically took out his whole arm and got no call. It was balant. He put his head down. Playoffs came around. Stephen A Smith said they don't get passed the first round and it didn't help first game Lowry scores 0 and they lose. Raptors didn't get favourites in any rounds in the playoffs. They did get like a 51-49 against Orlando. I recall against the Warriors. No one chose them even without KD cos of how they smashed Portland except Max Kellerman and he got clowned. When it got to G5, the same media was begging for KD to return.

@@MacNif Yeah sure. ●Came back from an injury in 2019..played 60 games. ●2020 didn't play back to back games bar injuries ●2021 played all the games bar injuries The narrative is just to try an hurt Kawhi. He doesn't care. Before this season. He had played more games than Embiid, LeBron, AD, Bam, Butler, PG. Giannis had only played 5 more games than him. Yes, he's load managed but if you weren't blind. You would have heard stories like, "Ty lue challenged him to play games and he accepted", "Not again, The team doctors misdiagnosed him and shouldn't have played all those games which might have cost him in the playoffs" I'm paraphrasing of course.

The part of the "preassure on the referee" was reeeeally interesting, to think that you would even put that into consideration and as part of your game plan... both the attacker and defender. It's a really smart way for a smaller player to gain an edge (that's why i always say "if you're small, understand the goddamn game!!! Better than anyone"), it's a subtle form of cheating, one that is not as blatant as Trae but it still is, you're using the rules to your advantage. He certainly build that arsenal because he was the smaller one most of his life, he had to create something to compensate.

Luka got Beverly benched and fired. He dominated every player trying to guard him on the clippers. If KP was not just sitting his enormous self out on the arc and anybody stepped up for the Mavs besides Luka they would have won. He’s doing it to everyone this season too, now that he’s not hurt, sick, or out of shape and worn out from carrying his country in the Olympics.

@@noahamankwaah9802 stop the cap (second half of what? The Luka show). Second half of last game Slowed him down slightly. Just every other Mav was shooting 11% from the field. He showed how great of wing defenders those two are along with Beverly and Big Zu on everyone not named Luka.

People underestimate how much work these players put in. It's not only about hitting the gym and practicing, it's very much about studying the other players and being focused. Even the less glorified players in the NBA are amazing and deserve respect despite the bs they sometimes say or do.

Pat Bev is the best, you can feel his confidence wasnt build by coaches and management like a lot of basketball prodiges. He have the ''street people game'', the one you build when you dont give up on yourself. He'have zero fake in him. Im french and this is def my type of USA citizen. Genuine with it too.

PatBev confirming Luka is a BubbleBoy. BubbleBoy is a player that flops so much that they have a bubble of personal space that defenders allow. Because if a defender enter the space, the offensive player will flop. Didn’t they change the rules this year?
