From Chicago but I’m a huge Luka fan, just follow up on your promise to quit crying to the refs bc damn it gets annoying to see on TV. A few times a game is coo, shows passion but damn, not every play! Other than that you’re one of the few players I’ll tune in to watch when you guys play. Here's my take on how people like Doncic and Jokic are able to come up with things without trying them first: the former Jugoslavia countries' type of basketball teaching is very strict and focused on fundamentals. They master them so well and it's so part of them that they kind of know the boundaries of what they can do and can experiment with those. For example: their use of the pivot foot. Nobody uses it like they do.

8:40 we all remember the game he's talking about EXACTLY. His first season Rockets came to Mavs and Capela just got torched at the end, Luka came in so clutch and made a name for himself in that game in America. This 19 yo dude just splashing 3s and hit a 2 in between. I remember he was slapping himself in the head after hitting two 3s cause his shot wasn't falling the whole game, but like all great players do - it came in the best possible moment!

Love to see how his face lights up when he talks about watching KD play, that's when you see how much he loves basketball. And great to see him gather the courage to take the plunge and do a podcast in a language he's still not so comfortable in. IT wasn't the most captivating and free flowing interview JJ has ever done but you have to start somewhere and I'm sure Luka will get much better at this in years to come with more practice, he'll get more comfortable and his natural charisma will shine through same way it does already on the court.

This is pretty big; it's a known fact that Luka prefers not to speak to media unless he's obligated to. I think it's because he's not that confident in his English. He spoke very well in this interview, and I'm glad that a respectful show like this was able to get this interview.

You can just see the fun that this kid has with answering these questions as well as when he leads his team down the court. All he needs is a playoff series win and then we can start talking about MVP Status this year. Cant wait to see what his Future holds, we are all so lucky that the NBA is in good hands with all this young talent!!
