Nick is literally telling us why the Lakers don't have a better record and doesn't even realize it... I love Wildes. I always hope that other viewers understand how brilliant he is. Whilst Nick & Broussard have the classic binary arguments where they put one guy/team/coach up against another and try to convince each other that their reasons are superior to the other's, Wildes just floats around the segment like a happy little bumblebee laughing along as he offers his unique, oddly sincere, and often poetic thoughts providing perspective in unexpected and always amusing ways. What Nick & Broussard do they do as well as anybody, but ultimately there are dozens of Debate Minded Sports Commentators out there. Wildes however is totally unique, nobody else can do what Wildes does the way he does it, he's 1 of 1.

Dear Wildes, Love the show. ...You're welcome. Last week, you placed all the dunk-contest viewers on the BUD list for complaining too much. My wife and I were motivated to amend our outloook. After a mini darkness retreat, we emerged with renewed sense of vim, vigor and vodka hangover. If you dont know what the word "vim" means, just ask Broussard. Anyway, we did enjoy the dunk contest , so thank you. However, on Monday, we noticed that you chose to whine and complain a lot about the All- Star game. This made me wonder if there will ever be a "BUD list app" where we can notify friends, family and "TV SHOW-Hypocrites" as to their presence on our personalized BUD lists. We would be "Tickled Pink" if this became a reality soon. And I don't mean "Jordan Love" soon. Sincerely EVE and STEVE

That's not true at all, I'm a LBJ fan and his 2011 meltdown is 110% on him. The thing that people want is there to be consistency, considering whenever any team LBJ is on loses a single game there's always a large contingent of media that'll automatically put all the blame on his shoulders no matter what his numbers are or the efficiency at which he gets them. It is a team sport after all and long gone are the days where the best player on the court can beat the better overall team (and he even bucked that trend when coming back from 3-1 down in the finals). You just have to look at Skip to see a microcosm of what I'm talking about.

I think James is the first to try and be good at 38. Malone and Kareem were good at that age aswell. Also a past his prime Jordan at age 38 had the Wizards in the Playoffs and was 4th in the NBA in scoring until he got injures. (the league was much rougher then). Still Jordan was 4th in the NBA in scoring at 25 ppg 6 rebounds 4 assists 2 steals until the injury. Only like 4 or 5 players tried to be good or Very good at that age.

He probably sees himself as a Marcus Smart type player which is actually stupid because Smart is a legit 6'3 without shoes who plays elite defense, can score efficiently and amazing ball distribution coupled with game management. Beverly says outlandish things to get noticed, dude be running around like a headless chicken on the court while doing absolutely nothing. No stops, no points, no assists, no rebounds. Pat B can be a contributor- he is just inconsistent. Most players are. I blame coaches more, for not adapting plays/ strategies to players performance that game, in match-ups, etc. Look at the great 80s match-ups - it was players and coaches playing chess, psych out games, trying to get each other off their game, that night. Exactly all the 40 point games by avg players the reason is 7 players currently avg over 30 the reason all the teams are avg about 110 points a game now why the all star game was foolish and not really that far from how the normal game is being played teams shot more threes than twos now players get 3 on 1 fast breaks and pull up for 3 instead of making easy layups
