I really like a trade offer that Nick mentioned on his own podcast. Nets trade KD and Ben Simmons for AD and Westbrook plus Laker's 2 first round picks. This way you can get rid of Ben Simmons' ridiculous contract and Westbrook's contract will expire at the end of the season along with Kyrie's contract. You also get AD who might be injury prone (KD is also injury prone at his current age so that's about a wash) but definitely exciting to watch to play in Brooklyn. You can then trade the picks for some other potential young players or solid role players and sign other free agent super stars (since you got 2 max salary spots after Kyrie and Westbrook deals are done) to build around AD. This is actually a very good solution to Nets' problems of not going anywhere this season and not having any future with no draft picks and Ben Simmons on their team. Nets just gotta realize that it's time to shop KD and move on so they don't struggle for another half decade.
