KD and LeBron have different personalities and play styles. LeBron thrives in situations which the organization and team caters to him and his play style. He needs to be surrounded by shooters to succeed & he's played with equally talented teams if not more. Kevin Durant at this point of his career is not trying to grind or carry a franchise like he was in his 20's - especially considering his injury history.

All free agent stars when you have 3 max contracts means you don't have the salary cap to make a truly competitive team unless all 3 are true a-1 stars.
