My band director put this on our website and its absolutely amazing. Patrick is such an inspiration to all musicians out there and also to people who have disabilities. Patrick reaches for the stars as well as his father and boy did they hit more then stars they hit a different galaxy. He is truly an inspiration to me. I had two surgeries this year and I thought my marching band career was over but he truly showed me that anything is possible

What a wonderful father to be so intensely supportive of his son like that... I can't imagine what it would be like to have grown up never knowing eyesight... I suppose never having experienced it you wouldn't actually miss it.

I've seen a couple videos about this guy, and what made me actually cry was him at the age were we learn to structure words together he is playing requests for songs. A blind child is playing music when most of us are still learning how to potty in the toilet. Bravo! also to his father grave yard shift at UPS is the most painful intense job around. 5 hours of constant movement loading packages into the trucks you leave that places dead tired. That father deserves an award.
