What a beauty! Anyone who isn't happy with Kane coming here is crazy. This guy knows the Red Wings and you can tell he is stoked be a Wing. Really hoping he has no issues from the surgery. Stoked to see him in the Winged Wheel. Thanks, Awood40 for uploading this. I had to pain my way through the HNIC broadcast. You rock brother
@karigrandii5 ай бұрын
He said he has been for over a month taking hits and playing 5v5 at full speed in private sessions before signing so his recovery had been really fast. For me I’m at 2 years after surgery and finally 100% after a lot of trouble but I had very little had low quality rehab and thus bad work ethic so I’m sure Patty is better than ever
@ValhallaRaven5 ай бұрын
@@karigrandiialso, Kane’s surgeon performed the procedure in such a way that has never been done before on any other hockey player. Multiple league and team doctors examined Kane and all concluded that how the surgeon performed the surgery has given Kane the best possible chance for longevity, and a chance to play multiple years without the need for further procedures
@winniewinifredi5 ай бұрын
@@ValhallaRaven that is excellent news. From practice(be it a small sample size), he looks WAY quicker and sharper than he did with the Rangers last season. If he performs well and it's sustained, I would love to see him sign longer than just this year. It has been a long haul getting back to being a contender, but we are finally here. LFGMFRW!

Well, i mean... 🤷😅 that's funny though, i was thinking something like that.. The key out of that is you can't look him in the eyes that long or you'll be hypnozie..😂 You have to be strong enough to break it up.. don't wanna send mixed messages 😂😂😂

Kane showed a little ESP by calling that goal as a redemption for giving up the shorty. He's very entertaining.

My biggest thing is… HE WANTS TO BE HERE!!! HE WANTS TO BE A WING! HE PICKED DETROIT. It’s still surreal to me, I genuinely can’t believe it. I remember listening to this live, and I had the biggest smile on my face. Such an exciting time for our team. Try telling a Red Wings fan 5+ years ago that Patrick Kane WANTS TO BE A RED WING… you’d be arrested. re: Just listening to this again, I still have the biggest smile. Unreal

It's really not that surprising Kane is here. The Red Wings have catered to Hall of famers since forever. Brett hull, yzerman, shanahan, the list goes on and on. I am a proud michigander and love my wings. He's officially one of us. Hopefully for a long time. Welcome.

Never skated or played competitively. Before participation trophies. We earned our hardware Lmao. I may be a has been but that's better than a never was. Your out of touch with reality if you think it's been "decades" since we had Hall of famers. I could start rattling them off just from the 08 or 02 teams but I think I made my point.

@@user-nj5wm1pn7x 08. We are 16 years away from that. It’s been a loooong time since we brought on HoF players that weren’t at the absolute end of their careers. I’m optimistic about Kane as he was still productive even with one useless leg for the last few seasons.
