It's amazing to me that despite all the drops and interceptions, as well as not playing the final game, Mahomes still finished the season with over 4,000 yards, a career-high completion percentage, and a passer rating well above 90. I'm sure he sometimes wishes he could clone himself and take responsibility at both ends of his pass attempts, or somehow simultaneously be on the sideline coordinating the offense and in the huddle relaying the plays. Or maybe his receivers just need to be on the same page. I'm sure this coming offseason will see some shakeup when it comes to the receivers and offensive coaching staff.

I want to be completely honest in the fact that I don't really stan Mahomes like alot of other people do, especially me being an Aaron Rodgers fan. But, I am excited for the Chiefs to finally have a decent WR in Rashee Rice. He is definitely their only hope on the outside. Travis Kelce is definitely a game changer, but at the same time, he's getting older and only has so much juice left in the tank. At best, he will become a Jason Witten type TE soon where he is still automatically open but has no burst. The Chiefs better hope they can find at least one more good receiving threat to pair with Rashee Rice soon.

The play at 4 minutes- he's watching the receiver to the left first, kelce is second option but mahomes is late to the read. You can see Mahomes looking left through the spider cam, his hips are aligned left, but wr is covered. Then mahomes hitches and looks right but I think it's late

Its the little things. The WRs are not playing well. No doubt. But this notion that Mahomes is still playing at the top of his game is just false. He's pressing. Which is natural. But the last play JT shows, he drops back like 12yds deep in the pocket. Which hangs the RT out to dry. Then he misses Kelce high. Even if he gets his arm hit he's way too deep. So it's still on him. The offense is just off

I honestly think there is a coaching issue and this video reinforces that idea for me. Guys just aren’t running the right routes. Mahomes can’t hit them in stride because they aren’t there when they should be. That screams coaching to me. Obviously, the WR room is lacking, but they had the goods last season. Bienemy is sorely missing in Kansas City.

The final play of the game for the Chiefs' offense was also on Big Red (Andy Reid). Your passing offense has primarily been Rice (4) and Kelce (87) yet you don't have Rice on the field on a 'must have to stay alive in this game' down? Unacceptable personnel decision

@@mckickz665 I think he’s misunderstood. KT is a gadget guy but because KC lacks talent at the position, he’s taking too many reps and he can’t handle the load. His snap count should be low and highly specialized.

Thank you for showing how Pat hasn't regressed... his WR's just consistently let him down. Even Tyreek would let him down, but then Tyreek would make up for it with a great play... these WR's don't make great plays (other than Kelce).

This weirdly makes me feel better about the offense. QB and play calling is still elite. Receivers will figure it out eventually. Surpsrising to see Kelce muddying up coverage or running wrong routes
