I love how people say "He needs to learn to train. Are you joking, I'm a Pats fan but P willis is easily the best mlb in the league and thing about his size. 6'1 260 pounds of pure muscle and he runs as fast as most Wr's. For everyone saying he doesn't train properly well I'd be scared at how much better he could be if he trained "right".

***** Yeah all it took for Kuechly to be the best ILB in the league was Willis and Bowman both getting injured. Willis and Bowman will return to 1 and 2 when the year starts. Luke can sit quietly at #3 until these two retire.
@noize20409 жыл бұрын
***** no Willis is better than Keuchly. Luke's speed isn't fast. Willis had an off year thanks to krap ernick. Patrick Willis from 2011...murders any modern MLB's year any year. Just because defenses have focused more on LB.. than and Defenses around the leauge have improved...doesn't mean Willis sucked. It just means Teams started copying what SF was doing with their 2011 3-4 Defense. You could Say WIllis was the first line of the speedy MLBs to hit the 2011' and onward seasons. So to say he is weaker is ridicolous.
@opwave799 жыл бұрын
Most of the people who criticize his workout are probably web-surfing couch potatoes and 30 lbs overweight. The only football these fools play is on Yahoo Fantasy. This video was shot in 2010 btw. I'm sure he picked up a few more routines from that time until he announced his retirement.
@ishvara82989 жыл бұрын
+Tyler Durden that's based off of what? Tackles? Tackles don't mean youre the best linebacker. Why would Willis even need to lead the league in tackles when the 49ers defense were top 2 in the NFL. Plus he had Bowman next to him getting 120+ tackles. Plus Willis had to cover TEs so obviously he's not going to get all the tackles.

Great workout philosophy. He's not pushing huge weight around, but he's concentrating on getting his form down through a mind-body connection. This will get you far whether you're an athlete or a body builder. Also like his attention to core body strength. So many football players just focus on the big 3 lifts, but in football, change of direction also requires incredible core strength. Great vid!

This guy's attitude is the epitome of what every athlete should work for in terms of state of mind. He's not arrogant but he takes pride in what he does, "I like the way I look." "It works for me." And the biggest thing he said that stuck out for me is "When you think, you leave doubts. When you BELIEVE there's no doubts, you leave no margin for error." That's not a mindset that can be coached, you either have it or you don't, and that's the difference between a good athlete and a great one.

@daratoc10 жыл бұрын
Your routine definitely matters. As long as you are lifting heavy weights you will get results, but there are ways to maximize your gains and get strength and mass much faster. If you don't want to get results as fast as possible go ahead do whatever you want but if you are like me and want to get bigger and stronger faster you should follow a set routine. If you are doing biceps everyday tho that is just counter productive you need to let you muscles recover.
