I can see how Michael Jackson got much of his influence from the Charlston. He doesn't do exactly the same thing, but there are elements from it in his dancing. He, for example, puts his weight on the front of his feet and lifts his heels off the ground to do much of what he does.

So Cool. This kind of dancing should be introduce into the schools: elementary, middle, high school. So cool, so fun, so healthy, and so social! I never liked Charleston...until now. I love this! Everybody with their own feeling for the moves and styles. This and Lindy Hop videos made me to join a Lindy Hop class...please don't you anybody know the music? What is the name of the song (or songs) and a band? And also the names of the dancers? Mainly the guy starting at 1:33, 3:37 and 5:40 and the guy in blue shirt who is preceding him? The girl from 0:48 is great as well...well they are all the best as it is a championship, I guess.
