If you don't know specifically what you are doing with Facebook ads you will waste your money. They are ridiculously expensive now and I don't see how the average joe can break even, let alone make a profit. You'll just be building a dead email list about people who don't give a shit about you. It's a black hole that sucks you in deeper and deeper. I know from experience. Also if you are "just really getting into it" and you are not an expert you should not be trying to teach this stuff to other people only to waste their money and time as well.

3:58 I heard from somewhere that starbucks never actually had any advertisements in the past. They make starbucks costumers advertise their product instead by getting their names wrong on the cup. For example they'd write monkeyl instead Michael so people would share it on social media and by doing that everybody would see starbucks logo and voila free promo from 1000 of people who got their name misspelled in a way so silly that they had to share it and show it to others. Idk if it's true tho

thanks man,am new to the game, am not as tech savvy as u but i have learned alot from the video, seems to me running 2 different ad campaigns on parallel making 1 of them targeting the US only and the other one targeting the rest of the globe is the best strategy, wth the right targeted demographics showing in the ad the artwork cover with the track playing in its background is the best way to go as you already mentioned people are interacting with such an add based on the music sound they are hearing because its simply music they listen to it with their ears so i believe visuals are not that important in our case comparing to the sound because at the end of the day we are promoting music here not a tangible products like shoes or cars ....etc , very informative video, such valuable exp, thanks for sharin

The problem with the ad with your face is that the people will click because they liked your pitch, not because they liked your track. They are more likely to dislike your track when they listen to it. If you use an ad with a sample of you track, the people who will click the link will do it because they really liked what they heard and I think this is the most important thing. The cost might be lower if you ran and ad with your face but the quality of each conversion will also be lower than the “sample ad”

Definitely worth exploring targeting all countries but imo it's hard to say whether or not it's more effective solely based on clicks, since the more targeted audience is likely to bring in more qualified leads and then more legitimate conversions to fans. Hard to say definitively without the listening data from Spotify as well, but some food for thought.

im getting so much organic streams that the ad didnt do much for me. I would have to spend a lot more for it to make an impact. Or, if you're a small artist this will help a lot

Friend, my respects from the heart for the great work that you are doing I do not speak English but I use the translator to be able to communicate really that this is pure gold what you are teaching here and it really helps a lot when it comes to study now I know what it will cost one campaign for promotion I generate royalties with spotify but in a totally different way for that grateful this is a sufficient basis to make a good video keep making more content and one thing if you can do a KZbin campaign to see how all this is but with KZbin
