I loooooove his blush application. I have felt that there has been more emphasis on bronzing and contour lately but blush is always applied so lightly you can hardly see it. Blush gives youth back to a face, I feel. It's incredibly flattering on you, Desi. His tip of same undertone with lip and eye is great and not something I follow all the time. I always feel something's off when I don't. I learned a LOT from this video. Thanks to you both!

he used what he finds works well. he used morphe palettes and kiss lashes which are affordable brands. majority of the products were mid tier sephora brands anyway really only the la mere and maybe some of the foundations were really high end

MakeupbyCourtneyMichelle oil controlling primers should help and then a reaaaaally light dusting of powder on the places you get oily (so avoid your jawline and cheeks if you don't get oily there) then use a setting spray to make sure everything stays in place!!

I am the absolute opposite, crazy dry skinned girl 😫 but my foundation feels tacky so I have to set it, but I hate the powder look I love dewy looks. I would recommend being very light handed with the powder and then a good shower of a setting spray that will help the powders "melt" in, like Fix+ although I currently use the Smashbox Primer Water, *and* then try a separate setting spray to lock it in (I use UD All Nighter).

I normally drench fix plus so it takes away the powder look but it's still not skin like which is what I want.. GKJ he probably sprays all the powder products with disinfectant, and he mixed the foundation on a palette. Dunno about those liquid lip products tho, not like he's giving away Armani to each client 🤔

GKJ I believe most definitely it was sanitary. He did use his own products and there's a chance he could of use new lip products or he could of wipe the lip products before he use it with a tissue but every artist has their own tricks.

cali starlet You didn't really answer my question. How was it sanitary? From what I recall, he dipped twice into the moisturizer. He dipped twice in the cream concealer. He used the liquid concealer directly from the wand. He used the liquid lipstick directly from the wand. Wiping with a tissue isn't sanitation. I don't mean to be rude but why bother replying when you don't know the answer to my question? I had a legitimate question and you're just stating your assumptions. Every artist has their own tricks doesn't apply to sanitation. There are definite"dos" and "don'ts". I didn't want to list every single thing he did that I thought may have been unsanitary, out of respect for a man who is absolutely wonderful at his craft but your reply led me to do so.
