Exactly what those things have to do with his one-timer quality? What a dumb argument to make. He might not be a complete player and he is still lacking many abilities to prove to be worth of his salary and draft number. But that shot is either best or second best in the world depending if you like Ovie's more or not.

@@jbmntx8647 then we just have to disagree. Pasternak is way better player. And because of that he is able to get himself to better positions to score and more often. But if you take all those factors out and we talk just about the shot itself then I'd say Laine is up top. He can shoot from various angles, positions, one-timer is so effortless, quick release on wrister, disguised wrist shot etc. Ofc these things are not factual but opinion based but even though there are better goal scorers in the league cause they are better players overall, I think Laine has a shot that every player in the league would want for themselves. Ovie's slapshot is the same level and Matthews has a wrist shot just as good but combined technique overall I think Patrik is just phenomenal.
