Christian is finally giving the GU Patrol build a much-needed upgrade to level the playing field with the rest of the Patriot Games fleet. In this episode the Twins embark on a 4,370km journey across the country, from Patriot HQ on the Gold Coast to GTurbo in Perth. Ashton you need twins, a smaller turbo to take care of the lag, then a bigger one that kicks in when the smaller one is reaching its limit.

Harrop E’s man! Can’t fault them and will never change from them, have had them in a prado that I drive like a patrol and everything else on the car has broken other then the locker! Has sat for 4 years and only thing still working 100% was the locker.

Firstly, good on the both of you for doing the trip across the country!👍 Second...well done fellas for having the initiative to fix that fuel tank and also get fuel in when the fuel cup was busted out of Perth...I have seen other guys your age, in the same situation, get on the phone crying to their parents because they don't know what to do...so well done the both of you, your old boy had better want to be proud of you both. (BTW...WTF did you hit to dent that tank like you did...an ELEPHANT?? 🐘)... As for the ZD30, many people out there are having cry over the motor saying they are grenades, they are this, that, etc etc...although they are the ones who don't have a clue... Check out the videos at the bottom of this post... The first 2 videos are a GTurbo fitted to a STANDARD GU engine, NO internal strengthening or modifications, making over 400HP!! Any other deisel motor would have rods sticking through its block! Nissan engines like the vehicles when properly done are TOUGH as FK!.. The 3rd is another 200kw GTurbo modded beast that is a LandCruiser 200 killer. (I'm trying to find a video where a modded ZD30 ute is climbing dunes that a Nissan Y62 V8 AND a Toyota 200 series can't climb up and can't follow in sand dunes).. BTW, great choice on GTurbo too, have seen their Turbo's shown on a Japanese performance TV show where technicians from a Nissan Performance are on the camera holding up a GTurbo and saying - "Aust Way Lee Ha, Gee Tee Tub-O ARR Da Best Tub-O, Yes, Yes, Best, Good good" 👍👍👍.... Finally...AS for the outcome...THAT ZD SOUNDS FKN AWESOME!!! AND don't forget that the 300hp is AT THE WHEELS!!..the Engine itself is more like 350hp+!! Look out Y62s and the LC200 series SOOKS!.. Anyway, great work boys, the both of you have moved over to the darkside and Nissan'd UP and showing up the old boys own 4x4s...haha!!.. Picking your nose with dirty fingers is a dead giveaway. You’ll be in trouble with your mother. Needs a FASS lift pump and filtration system to protect and feed those big injectors. I install them on every performance build I do.
