Fun fact Barrage appeared in a cutaway gag from Family Guy where Megatron is trying argue with Negatron (cutaway gag character from Family Guy) over victory.

Was my favorite Transformers figure (and still is amongst the original G1 toys). The articulation and engineering is amazing.

FANTASTIC REVIEW PATRIOT PRIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am surprised that Hasbro and Takara Tomy never considered repainting Combiner Wars Bombshell into Barrage, since they both transform into similar looking beetles. :D Keep up the amazing work you do, Double Thumb's Up. :D

Great review and a surprising figure with how he was set up. Looks like all the articulation💪👊✊ that Chop Shop is missing showed up here in Barrage. Good to see that the playlist is also available to view for these fellows. Also this would be your 4th Insecticon video 🎥 overall on your channel. You 1st video with these buggy 🐝 fellows was the Nonnef Productions gun 🔫 set for the 4 Generations Legends Scale figures were you compared the main 3 with their G1 counterparts.

The g1 insecticons had more articulation than the regular figures i guess it was easier to give more articulation to animal transformers great review of a figure i never knew

I’m ridiculously late to the party because I just found one myself today at a tag sale for 8 bucks. Turns out his robot mode head actually slides forward to make the robot mode more cohesive... amazing for a 1985 figure

Man those figures are amazing! Their transformation is modern but difficult and easy to break, maybe thats the reason that they didnt get in the line and in the show?? Anyway I didnt know their existance... Thanks for that Patriot!

I always had a soft spot for these Deluxe Insecticons. Even though again, like most transforming toys at the time, articulation was very limited, but the amount of detail they have makes up for that. And nice to see that you're also familiar with Popeye. :D

I love g1 there just something about this toys. born in 1980 grew up wanting all of them. I'm 42 and I have all of them now. my son is 8 and he loves them. they go to him. my daughter gets all of my motu.

Such incredible transforming engineering on the legs and feet.. Certain modern and even Masterpiece figures can't even do that.. No hollowness every spare bit of space and minimum plastic used.. Face is so awful but when everything else is so good you can easily overlook that... when all 3 are displayed it's a stand out shelf presence. Great video.. Hooah!!!
