Got this guy last year as part of my quest to collect the original headmasters. Great figure. The hip twist and near symmetrical legs make him quite unique among G1 figures (you really have to pay attention to where that wheel is). I still need a Chromedome and the two Horrorcons (and the headmaster juniors, except Horri-Bull).

I got my childhood Highbrow at a flea market, so he had Mindwipe's head and Metroplex's guns lol. Great toy and I had lots of adventures with him despite the mismatched accessories. Thanks for the review Patriot Prime! Always enjoy your looks at G1 figures!

That is a great alt-mode, we need more dual-rotor helicopters. The robot mode could indeed use some screw covers, wow. Great review as usual!

A nice figure. Makes me want to see a theme of larger and smaller versions of alt modes. If this is combat, I want to see a quad rotor variant with longer body like a sky crane but overall the same build.

So funny I have Highbrow but I never knew that you could fold his blades together in robot mode I have the blades in a V shape for him. He has always been in robot mode on my shelf

I'm surprised you didn't mention the Japanese Headmasters series. He played a bigger role in that one.

Highbrow had a bit more to do in the Marvel UK comics. He had a bit of a rivalry with Scorponok.

A question, do you know what inspiration to make a military weapon? I never imagined that they would make it real when I said it? Wow Wow and what other character are they going to make?

During World War II, helicopters saw their first widespread use in military applications. In 1935, the German company Heinkel built and flew the world’s first practical military helicopter. This machine, called the “Heinkel He 49,” was designed as a reconnaissance aircraft and could reach speeds of up to 100 kilometers per hour (62 miles per hour).
