What a brick?!? An absolute ‘brickformer’... I’ve always had this love/ hate relationship with Quickswitch. I love the colours and have never heard it called a ‘cupcake’ before. You had me in tears laughing. I’ve always liked the Hydrofoil and the Flying Puma mode just so weird?!? I imagine the board meeting went something like this... Hasbro Exec “I really robots, jets, drill tanks, laser pistols, hydrofoils oh and flying pumas” Toy Designer “Leave it with me...” Hasbro Exec “Nailed it!” Great review.. Happy Halloween 🎃

If memory serves me well, the G1 figure was designed by a toy fan for a Hasbro "six changer Autobot" mail-in contest, which would explain the exaggerated blockiness.

In the japanese, he's named as six knight and is a decepticon that would later become an autobot.

He was in transformers Masterforce and Victory....in those series he was Sixshot and became an Autobot.

In g1 (at least from what I was told) the father or parent technically was their creator. Like alpha trion was Optimus Prime

Your face in the intro 🤣🤣🤣🤣 “what the f--“ 😆😆😆😆 love it!!!! The only logical explanation that I can think of behind the whole “father-son” complex between the two six/changers is that Sixshot built Quickswitch. Much like how “ME GRIMLOCK” built the Technobots. That’s just my theory though.

Excellent review, bro. I actually really like this figure but some of the modes are understandably compromised since it’s a six changer. I honestly don’t know why they didn’t just repaint and slightly remould Sixshot to make is figure.

I personally love this guy. Yeah, he is blocky, clunky and awkward, but I think that is his mojo and charm. Plus, despite his odd appearance, he is tons of fun. And I love his tech spec bio. He is a wacky character with tons of potential. As for how did that happen? It's best not too think too much about it, it's just one of those mysteries we'll never know. But LOL, Sixshot banging a GONK droid? XD

Saw this looking to see if you reviewed POTP Darkwing or Dreadwind. G1 Quckswitch is one of the few G1 that survived from childhood. I did lose the guns though. I still need to find replacements. Anyway, I still remember the Christmas I got it. I was at my grandparents. I remember struggling with the boat mode because the instructions were a little unclear.

I've got this one ! :) The modes are great, except for the robot mode who sucks LOL But the box art made up for that mode :) Because the transformation are very intuitive, he was a lot of fun to play with ! :)

That was funny!!! Well... i dont care if he is a frankenstein. I love that robot cause of the nostalgia. He has a special place in my hurt for so many memories of gaming out in the yard under the summer sun and on our living room, which was a fighting team with g1 Springer, afterburner and Windsweeper. We couldnt afford for an Optimus, so i had a cheap strange K.O. Optimus prime spaceship for a leader!!! GREAT review
