If the Patriots end up picking between 5 and 10, we have to go with the best available player. There are just too many holes to fill. While I’d love to see a wide receiver or offensive lineman drafted, you can’t ignore the potential of pairing Will Johnson at cornerback with Gonzalez. On the other hand, adding Mason Graham to line up next to White and Barmore would create a dangerous defensive front. Personally, I’d love to see Travis Hunter in a Patriots uniform, but if we stay in that range, prioritizing the best available player is the smartest move.

I'm all in on OT with our first pick. A Left OT is a must have and every year there is an abundance of WR's and very good ones can be found mid first round or somewhat later every year. We can sigh one of the older WR's in FA or even try for Higgins, either way.

To be honest I don’t feel like the offensive line this draft are super talented. I think what NE needs is a big bodied WR. We have all these small WR in our lineup, no one is taller than 6’2 and that is Kendrick Bourne. Everyone else is 5’8-6’1. I think the big bodied WR that is most talented this class is Tetario McMillan WR. He is 6’5 a little over 200lbs, he has height, length, can catch contested balls and he’s a matchup nightmare. He’s going to be a top 10 pick. We don’t need anymore WRs that have the same builds as ours. We need someone Dynamic that sticks out and is dangerous. Because that last play that Drake Maye threw the pick was because Demario Douglas didn’t turn around and he is 5’8. If we had someone who is 6’5 he would have definitely caught that. There is also Nic Anderson WR who is 6’4 a little over 200lbs who is projected to be drafted in the 2nd-3rd round. But there is also a player that can fill the positional void on defense, and that is Abdul Carter LB. He can play MLB and cover, he can also be played as an Edge rusher which he really Excels at as well. He is basically Micah Parsons. That’s what the patriots have been looking for in a LB. Someone that can play multiple roles without having to be switched out, which is why they got rid of Josh Uche because he’s only good during passing plays. But hear me out on this. If we happen to get Tee Higgins, then get a LT and a RT. We draft Abdul Carter because I think he is the 3rd most talented player in this draft in the first round, we get an OT in the 2nd round, we get Nic Anderson in the 3rd and we bolster up any other holes we need filled on both sides. I feel like this is the best scenario right here. Because having a player who is basically a Micah Parsons 2.0 on defense will dramatically make this defense go crazy. Because if you watched when Micah parsons got drafted in the nfl his rookie year, he was going crazy. Can create pressure in all angles and still be able to cover. But I’ll say this again I don’t feel like any of the OT this draft are super talented. Will Campbell has the size to play OT but he has short arm length and he is also a “PENALTY” machine, we don’t need anymore of that on our offense. If he gets drafted, he’s going to play OG. He’s basically a Landon Dickerson. The same goes for Kelvin banks he is too small to play OT. He has the same build as Caedan Wallace.. how did that work out for him? As for Travis Hunter, he’s basically Trevon Diggs. Trevon diggs played WR in college. But he’s also INJURY PRONE. also what’s his height again? He is 6’1! We already have 3 WR with the same build as he does.

During FA we get Tee Higgins, get a LT and RT. During the draft we take Abdul Carter who is a Micah Parsons 2.0 in the first round. We get Nic Anderson in either the 2nd or 3rd round, we gather depth for the OL and then defense in the later rounds. I guarantee you if we did this, we would be playoff bound. Abdul Carter can be that difference maker in NE.

I’d rather get a deep threat like someone like a Jalen royals if he falls to the third. I’ve also liked a guy named savion Williams he reminds me of deebo. Whoever is there for our pick. O line is more of an issue so that should come first imo. An improved O line will improve the performance of Maye and our current set of receivers. There is actually a decent amount of young receiver talent on the roster just not a true #1.

McMillan is our guy. I think when you draft that high the guy you pick needs to be a can’t miss prospect and the OL class this draft is weak and McMillan is a top 5 pick type of talent. We should fill OL needs through free agency. If we were talking a Jake Long type draft prospect at OT then I say go for it but that’s not what Campbell is.

Grab a stud LT first. That makes the entire offensive line better. Then, trade back into the first round and grab Luther Burden from Mizzou. The Pats need some skill players who scare defenses. Don't want Higgins. He's hurt for extended periods every year. Right now, the focus is on keeping Maye healthy and continuing to develop him. Then, grab a top-five pick. I'm more interested in wins for 2025. But it looks like we have a future star at QB.

He wouldn't be the first. There have been multiple and the best to do it was Patriot Troy Brown. Played wr cb and did kickoff and punt returns. A true all around player. Idk that Travis is that good. He definitely would be a great wr addition but giving Gonzo some help in that defensive secondary cannot be an ignored need. Against the rams Gonzo had to go back and forth between puka and Cooper cupp and they just threw to whoever he wasn't on and they both ended up over 100 yards. The things is a are scoring but other teams scoring more. Our defense can't be forgotten or we gonna be fighting 40 point games all season

Drake is super mobile. Getting a big OL could actually be detrimental to that. Hes been sacked at leadt 3 times this year off of tripping on his lineman bc hes moving around. Get him someone solid to dump the ball tonfirst. Then build an efficient mobile line

Sorry Allie, I must disagree. Wide receiver and a corner star is something we have NOT seen. I would be so disappointed in patriots if they didn’t draft either Travis Hunter or T-Mac. O-line is important, I agree. Imagine having a Wr1 like Travis hunter, who’ll be able to give drake maye many open looks. Getting hunter is not only good for maye, but also the wide receiver group would benefit more if they were 2nd or 3rd options. We have Gonzo as are up and coming star alongside drake maye. All we need is a star receiver to compliment both offense and defense. Why pass on the best player available and get a developing O-line, rather than a generational talent? We’ve been down this road with cole strange being picked in the 1st round. Are we allergic to talent? Let’s not make that mistake again.

Id rather pass on Travis Hunter and either get McMillan or get one of the left tackles. Travis as a wideout,from what I’ve seen from sources, isn’t even close to being polished as a wideout and would be a project at the nfl level since his route tree is lacking and some question his durability at the nfl level. So say he’d be a great corner but with the lack of talent on the offensive side I would look at defense at all especially since you just got Maye and you need to build around him so he can continue his development
