Your reaction makes the song more emotional. I cried listening to this because of my own feelings as well, I had my own reason for my sadness. You had your own feelings, I am proud you are even able to talk about such an emotional thing. I probably wouldn’t be able to, stay strong! I have a sister, she once told me she had depression during our childhood and I NEVER KNEW! I was so sad when she told me she suffered from depression for a year. She said she once tried to approach me and talk about it but she was too afraid to open up and that’s why she was suffering for so long, luckily she got out of it but I truly regret not being able to be there for her, but she never blamed me and I’m sure your brother has never blamed you for anything either!

Hua Chenyu is by far my favorite artist out there because of this reason. There's just something about the way he delivers every song he does that I can't quite describe. Trust me, I've been crying with you through this one. This song in particular along with Seven Personalities which you've yet to react to, have been on repeat since it came out. My culture motto is "okay to bleed but tears are not allowed" . You have to pretend that everything is under control even though all have crumbled. We fearful of being frown on and ignored. Society only cheer those are successful. But how many people are born successful?? They have theirs' struggles but not shared publicly. It takes courage to review your inner demon and weakness, not afraid to be manipulated into something negative, especially in the dirty show business arena. We all have this little piece of weakness in us to make us more Human!! Nobody can sail through life without some rough tumbles. Usually I don't like songs with a Children Choir but in this song it perfectly makes sense to me. The lyrics are very, very touching and in the combination with the melody unresistable for me. Hua Chenyu delivers great and very personal art here. I admit that I cry everytime I watch this video (a real tearjerker) and I appreciate your honest and most sensitive reaction, man. Without playing it out loud, I still wet my eyes And you guys should have seen me crying like waterfalls when I was home alone by myself. To me, he's telling me that we all have times when we aren't ourselves, and that is OK because light and darkness makes us whole. All we can really do is just to confess, and make the best out of the rest. He is irreplaceable. Right now I stare into a bunch of music styles and nobody else is ever this unique. I find similarities between all Martians, me and him. He has the life everybody else desired, that's why we are gathering around and watching out, to actually make this path possible. I know about HuaChenYu since he's during a competition around six years ago. His first song on stage is a song without any lyrics yet made me feels so much back in the day almost like I can heard his cry. you can search it -> 华晨宇 火星歌 I was suffer in depression, but meting HuaChenYu is really a gift from god to me. somehow, somehow I can feels that he can understand me, the loneliness along with the craziest cry. during the days with my depression, or maybe over thinking from what my family said, luckily I was able to found a friend who really know me and accept me. "I really want to love this world" made me love myself so much more, that I'm able to win against my head, to love other, and to help other. but "Conversation with Martians" man "feeling vulnerable is normal" I'm still scare to feel the sadness, I do not like my "weak" personalities. not only once I told myself do not be afraid, or I should not be afraid. sometimes I'm pushing myself so hard to get rid of my "negative feelings" that sometimes I forgot, it's all belong to me. This is me.

I teared up every single time I heard this song. We are so blessed to have Hua Hua in our lives, and to receive such a precious gift to all of us. The love between us Martians and Hua Hua is eternal. I'm rewatching your videos of Home Free and Hua Chenyu. I haven't seen this video in 2 years. I didn't cry on song #3. But watching this one, I started crying. The feeling of loneliness and not being able to connect with others just beyond touch.... I don't recall doing this before... Maybe the feeling of helplessness of losing my job of about 25 years due to this worldwide event. The stress of monthly bills and trying to get a job. Being the only 'breadwinner' of the household. Maybe this is why I've reacted emotionally to this. I felt his loneliness and his struggle.

Sorry to hear about your brother, don't blame yourself too much, sometimes those people with depression hide their emotion too well that we can't really see their suppressed feeling. My sister had depression as well, she didn't tell much about what happened and why, that's why we couldn't really help her, but she is coming back slowly.
