These three plus Bill Gaither, is my favorite rendition of the Gaither Vocal Band. There have been many combinations over the years, and I enjoy each one, but to me, this is the best. Guy and David are an amazing combination. These three voices, as you said, can harmonize very well together. This dvd, I believe, released back in 2008. Thanks for the reaction.

10:37 PM CST 2/20/23 Shreveport, LA. I have listened to the Gaithers and all of their talented singers for over 25 years. I was so blessed to see them in concert three times. I am 65 years young. When it comes to southern gospel, Christian contemporary, Praise & Worship, and even singing out of “The Baptist Hymnal”, I love music! We, as Christians, have to share the unconditional love of Jesus Christ and share Christian music with the world! I just discovered your program a week ago and I thank God for you! God bless you!

Thank you for giving Mark the credit he well deserves. He's always so supportive when the others would get the cheers and standing ovations even after he had just sung his heart out. "House of Gold" from the "Harmony in the Heartland" CD would be a good one of his to review. It's fun and he sounds great. DP and GP and Michael English are his "backup" singers.

The Gaither Vocal Band with its various members over the years has always been good, and still is today. As you said, having "backup" vocalists of the calibre of David and Guy for this was amazing, but then they have always worked as a group. Wes Hampton has been a tenor with the group for a long time now, and has some especially touching solos. Thanks for continuing with reacting to David and Mark, they deserve a place in the reaction community for their consistently high musical standards, as well the message they are committed to communicating. Bill Gaither himself has had a remarkable life in Christian music.

The Gaither Vocal Band has been around, in various forms, for decades! So many of those in the audience were members of the group and have all been amazing! Bill Gaither, his brother, and wife were the original members. If you do some research, you’ll find that Bill Gaither and his wife have written some of the biggest gospel songs ever. Because He Lives is a favorite, but there are dozens and dozens more. Anyway, I’m so glad I stumbled on your station! Bill and Gloria Gaither knows vocal skils. They have launched several singing careers. Sandi Patti, Larnell Harris and many in the Gaither Vocal Band. Mark brought Bill Gaithers attention to David. They are my favorite GVB. Others are great, but they are Amazing. I love your honest reactions. I enjoy them so much.

Mark signed his first recording contract at the ripe old age of.......12:-) And he's the one who discovered David Phelps, who was auctioning at the studio that day in Nashville......he called Bill Gaither (he was in Bill's GVB by this time) and the rest, as they say is history.......

Mark Lowry has had MS for many years now. Among other things, it has made him partially deaf in one ear. When he sings about "the deaf will hear" he is truly singing "praises to the Lamb". You should find some of his comedy videos for your own personal amusement.

Just a note, the dude at the piano is Gordon Mote, who has a background as a session player for some of Nashville's heavy hitters. He's been playing keyboards for Gaither productions for a few years now, and is a pretty good singer himself. He's also totally blind.
