I've been to at least a dozen snow games living in Western New York and being a fan of the Buffalo Bills. Snow games are some of the best games to go to, including the 4-5 hours of tailgating outside the stadium before the game, and usually an hour more after the game waiting to get out of the parking lot. Between the barbecue, fires, and a few adult beverages while tailgating, everyone keeps pretty warm and has a good time. Usually in Buffalo going to a game is an all day event. There is an RV lot at the stadium that start filling up on Thursdays for the games on Sundays and Monday. If you have the proper gear you're pretty warm all day, and if you live around the teams that get this type of weather most everyone has their winter gear for just such occasions.

We wouldn't go out before or after the storm we'd meet at the park in the middle of a good ole' winter Nor'easter with 12" - 15" of snow on the ground and still falling a few inches per hour. Call everyone in the neighborhood, and they 'd start calling people and by game time we'd have 10- 15 guys out there for kick-off The games would slow till the first big hit then it would be go-time and bodies would be flying what great time and unforgettable memories ! 😁 We stay out for a little bit of drarkness that adds to the drama and we'd stay out till broken tired or frozen ! Then we'd head in for a college game if there was one on. Thankmyou for the video 🏈😎

NFL games don't stop for weather other than lightning. Recently they have begun rescheduling or relocating games if the forecast a few days in advance suggests that attempting to get to the game will be a public safety hazard, but that's largely limited to hurricanes and actual blizzards. Heavy snow, frigid temperatures, or gusty wind alone isn't enough, though heavy snow and wind together sometimes is. Not sure what the temperatures were in any of the games in this video, but I would guess probably in the -10 to -5 C range (+14 to +23 F) for most. You can't get too much below that and have the real heavy snow; the air simply can't hold enough water for that to happen. There have been games much colder - at least down to -25 C (-13 F), possibly a little lower. In one game, known as the Ice Bowl, it was so cold that the refs stopped using their whistles to avoid having them freeze to their lips!
