#Patrones

The latest issue of Patrones, July 2024 459, comes with some pretty dresses and of course some other stuff too! There is also a pattern that I find surprisingly attractive :) , pants number 32!

Thank you for all your observations (and using yellow drawing to emphasis) and thoughts on improving or modifying. Agree with you the white trousers with cuff and button detail are wonderful. I am behind on my Burda projects, so might wait before trying to buy this issue. In Sweden we are not as hot as rest of Europe (usually), less reason to make all the heat survival clothing.

so many beautiful dresses in this issue, absolutely love the yellow pleated dress. And I do love the simple blue trousers, nice clean lines.

Thanks for your review Camelia, as usual. I must say that, although some pieces are nice, I don’t find anything spectacular. I think they are starting to repeat a lot. As an example I found exactly the same wide leg pants in three issues of 2024. So I have decided not to renew my subscription, which finishes in July. I will eagerly look forward to your videos before deciding if I buy an individual issue. Thanks again!

Hello, Camelia. I absolutely love the first dress. It’s absolutely perfect for lounging in the summer, and where I live is always summer. It is also the aesthetic and style I love, so of course I am making this one. I have a beautiful silk musseline that is just perfect for it. But then all the other patterns were a blah for me…

Yes, that dress screams summer days, lounging and chilling 🥰 I would love to know how it went if you get around to make it. Here in Germany is only 17 degrees, I get the push to make long sleeves and jackets 🤣 The new Burda came yesterday, they are also hitting fall patterns, there are some really good ones!

I am using their digital version, you can find the Patrones App in the app store. Make an account and then you can buy single issues or take a subscription. You get in the digital version the same patterns ( so , all of them) as you will get in the paper version of the magazine, for the same price. Every pattern comes on 9 A4 pages ,which you will have to print and than trace the pattern pieces ...is very easy.

Hi, thank you for the comments on the last Patrones. I have the digital one and I find they have interesting models, simple and are supposed easy to make. But the instructions are not easy to follow . In your experience , Which number corresponds to 36 from Burda ?

I must say that written only instructions are not eady to follow, so you are right. I looked at both size charts and the 38 from Patrones is about the same as 36 from Burda for bust and hips. The waist is different, size 36 Burda has a 66cm waist and size 38 Patrones 62...so you will have to keep that in mind. Size 40 on Patrones has the same waist as 36 on Burda.
