Backgrounds are such fun cards, I love throwing as many relevant backgrounds as I can into partner decks for that 2x value since they give their effect to BOTH commanders

Feywild Visitor is wild in my Ukkima/Cazur! And I'm imagining Passionate Archaelogist to be just crazy in Tenth Doctor/Rose Tyler

Nice to see some apreciation for my favorite and first commander i've built. Unfortunantly tavern brawler does not fit my build because i have some key cards that if exiled can be a real blowout, and i had to adapt my deck to not be dependant on the commander because of facing heavy removal. So there are games that i dont even cast my commander.

I love Tavern Brawler in general, but yeah it puts in work especially with Yasova

Happy I saw this, going to have to retool my deck on moxfield. I guess I get to save some money by skipping Zopandrel, but I'm bummed Halana and Alena don't work as I thought they did.

I built yasova a long time ago and it was split between thief and Voltron more so Voltron with the interaction being steal and sacrifice. It’s pretty brutal but mulitiplayer you don’t get much leeway

I've been pondering over Yasova the last couple of days. I wonder if anyone besides me has ever thought of using cards like frogify and such to make opponents creatures 1/1s to steal and then sacrifice for value.

How do you even play this deck? It was the most toxic deck I have ever played. I had to take it apart immediately. I loved the deck but people clearly didn't like the idea of their commanders beeing stolen permanently. Which was understandable.

Why would their Commanders be stolen permanently ? It would only be until end of turn.

@@Dragon_Fyre most Yasova builds run plenty of ways to permanently steal, such as "Thassa, Deep-Dwelling" and "Bazaar Trader" (give control of the creature to yourself. It overrides the "until end of turn" part of Yasova's effect)

@@quille9879 You would need 7 mana to use Thassa and Yasova together and Bazaar Trader is a 1/1 so easily dealt with. I would think they could just go without them and make it more fun in EDH rather than taking the deck apart.

@@Dragon_Fyre I found Thassa is a good value card on its own. I agree with you on Bazaar Trader though, it's good in theory but kind of mediocre in practice. I found stealing creatures ineffective, much better to use them as sacrifices for spells

This. Built it and then took it apart after a few games. The deck is brutal, but no one likes it.
