Amazing. Brian Jacks was (and still is) one of my heros from the 1960s. I got into judo late in life and read everything I could about it. I came across Brian and the things that he did to get on in judo. I related to everything about him: his background; his accent and the way he spoke; and his character. I am so pleased to see him on your video and glad that he is enjoying life. Good luck to you Brian.

For those on a limited budget, this place is ideal and the price is reasonable. What I like about them is they are larger rooms that you can make your own and for myself, there are ground-floor or 1st-floor Thai style. No stairs. If I was coming for a limited time at these prices I don't think you can go wrong. You are only a hop, skip and jump from Pattaya. It even has a pool at this price. No brainer if you ask me.

I just rented a nice room in Pratamnak it is 40 meters and it is on the 6th floor with a much better view for, 5,000B. It is equipped with an elevator and has a nice pool. I pay the government rate for electricity which is about half of what most apartments charge. View Dee looks very clean and they supply WIFI too, I have to get my own internet (640B). It isn't what I would call a great deal but it looks like good value. If you are on a budget and want to meet up with other expats it would be a good place to start. If I was brand new to Thailand would consider this place as a spring board.

Hi Heath. Thanks for the great video. It’s also great to see a legend like Brian looking very happy and living the good life. I’m sure he has been an inspiration and hero to so many Judo-ka (practitioners) so meeting him in person would be a great honour. I noticed in this or your other two videos on View Dee that there were a few restaurants somewhere close. I feel bad for asking this and yet it seems necessary. Was there a reason that I missed for not showing the 130 per month room indicated in the title of your vid?
@fromoneendofthailand2 жыл бұрын
Hi William. Unfortunately, those smaller rooms were occupied. I briefly showed through the window of room 22, which is 5500 per month.

How far from Pattaya center , is there baht bus , how much rent the last one two bedroom
@fromoneendofthailand2 жыл бұрын
I think 7500 per month but best to call the number to check availability. There is a baht bus once you reach the main Sukhumvit Road. Best to use the Bolt taxi service.

It looks a good place ,but i would prefer to pay maybe B1500 extra to be near the beach (current rates ) in Jomtien.
@fromoneendofthailand2 жыл бұрын
Hi Anthony. That's a fair comment. There are some good deals around at the moment. View Dee only take a 2000 deposit where in Jomtien you might have to pay one month's deposit and two months in advance. I should have mentioned this in the video.
