I could go, but I just don't trust what the Thai officials may do going forward. I would be going for 3 to 6 months so a week or two in ASQ is OK, even though I hate being price gouged. I could even put up with the process that takes about a month, COE, hotel advance bookings, coordinating Plane flights from the USA, changes, extra insurance, etc. But what if the officials kick out tourists again, or mandate bad vaccinations, or whatever. I would not even mind the shut downs, less entertainment etc. My needs are modest.

That's a nice size apartment the first one. Excellent Big old sofa 😉. Great view. Only £180?!! Where do I sign?!! I like the kitchen tiles in that one and the shower looks decent. The lady was nice too. Those are maybe the best most comfortable sofas I've seen 😉. Just need a newer tele 📺. Great views from there. Wow the last one what views and sofa and modern TV. A load of bargains here. She was a nice lady wasn't she nice laugh. Just £200 amazing with a great swimming pool I was not expecting that for the price. OMG they have a sauna too 😮. What a great find 👍🇹🇭

Thanks for helping me explore more options. This condo was a bit dated, I think the previous one may have been too, but it was closer to the beach. The last unit was spacious and had plenty of outside lighting. The pool was nice and they have a sauna at this condo. I'd consider it.

In buildings which are wired for 5G, unlimited internet is approximately $24 per month. Of course, you can get a cheaper or a more expensive plan. Mobile phone plans, and some folks use them as their internet too, can be approx $20 per month. Cheaper or more expensive plans available also.

@@brib6194 yea I know....I stayed at an airbnb last trip and there was a sauna....but still, I'm absolutely drenched after 30 minutes there and im just dripping...I carry a bottle of water and get those cold wet towels to cool down. I love Thailand but the heat can be brutal. Incidentally, Thailand is Antarctica compared to Cambodia....its microwave hot there.

It is great to see low prices now, which I can easily afford. But to be realistic what were the prices pre-covid i.e. 2019/2020? There is no point looking at todays prices if they are 4 times more expensive when Covid is gone? Can you do a price comparison between 2019 and 2021??

In the 1990s, Pratumnak was hyped like Beverlys Hills of Thailand. Geographically, it's a good place to live. But there have been crises after crises and now it's cheap and worth thinking about. Why not? Someday ...

One thing that I never hear you inquire about is the depth of the pools. I think this could be important information for any renters. Other than that and maybe more coverage about the beach and the clarity and calmness of the water, your videos are pretty in depth.

My missis got a 84 sq meter 2 bedroom. Big balcony Pratamnak hill between soi 5 and 6 for 9000 bht. Art on the hill the building was called .

I kind of like that first one because it has a couch and decent sized "living area". For that price it is so much better than a hotel. not much difference between 1 and 2. Number 3 for the price might be the winner. I am not worried about an extra 1,000 baht or two. Number 3 crappy old veneer shelves need a little help

Good down to earth you info. I have found many really good places from B 3000 to 5000 per month, all easy access by Baht bus. So many bargain offers around now. Just one tip... check the length of the contract 🇬🇧

Good one... btw... If I wanted to pay someone to come in and paint the walls a different color, do the landlords there typically allow you to do this? I assume the color I would want would have to be approved by the landlord. If I am going to live somewhere for a year or more... I would like to wake up everyday to a color I would enjoy more.

I’m enjoying your videos on Condo’s, although the first 2 shown here look somewhat depressing to live in. Prefer (if possible) more on one bedroom condos for long term (6-12 months), that are close to the Baht Bus route.

I know this sounds a bit anal but how come it seems 8 out of 10 condos/apartments etc. have a refrigerator with the doors opening the wrong way? You ever notice that? I know im not to only one out there that sees that, or well maybe I am lol, but the doors should open out not into the kitchen area that way you dont have to fight with them when loading your groceries from the counter... I believe most hinges are reversible, but then I see some that are not. It would be the first thing I would change...lol.. thanks for you videos just wish I could come and stay in one.. willie stuck in seattle
