The first one looks like only one or two min walk to Thappraya road. Where you can get a baht bus to Jomtien or central Pattaya for 10 Baht. For those without a vehicle . Would be my choice.

I'd rent the 3rd house and would eventually want to replace the furniture with my own furniture that I'd buy over a period of time. East Pattaya is the area I'd look.

Be careful about renting villas along 1st to 3rd road from the beach as these will get flooded when it rains, those on the Eastern part near nong prue that are on higher ground will not be affected, but u will need to own a car or bike to get around. I liked house 3 as well. As far as house 2, at 10:20, how skinny do you have to be to fit between the bath tub and sink? Or do you just stand in the tub while you brush your teeth in the sink??? LOL. Very good prices for house rentals. Building on the low end of 1 to 1.5 million baht in Isaan, it would take about 7.5 years to break even on a build. Plus you would have your maintenance costs and the cost of furnishings. So maybe more like 10 years. Something to think about. I want to rent and my Thai wife wants to build. I think we all know which way that will go. LOL

@@Rides4Kickz They think it's the calcium/magnesium that might make the difference. They noticed the pattern in Britain. Places that made good Bitter beer - i.e. had hard water - had lower heart disease rates. Glasgow has very soft water (straight out of Loch Katrine without passing over rocks), which is why I eat a ton of nuts, canned fish, and other mineral dense foods. My pal worked for Scottish water authority. He was not impressed with the product he was delivering. Renting a house, in my opinion, is much much better than a condo if you have a partner or family. For me the only downside would be the electric, which I would think would be at least double from a condo to keep the air con running.

@@sapalot5660 outdoor maintenance is something that is in the contract. For example, pool maintenance if that is at your home including lawn care. The last home was nice, but they all seemed about the same to mee. Curious... I'm looking at these on the map and the locations seem great! I don't want to be in the heart of the city with traffic, noise and partners everywhere. I like the quiet. But, you seem to think these are "to far away"....hmmm. maybe it is because I'm from Texas and it's a mile just to the mailbox! Kidding!! Seriously though, a few km away seems super reasonable, is it because low speed traffic makes a few km feel like long transit times? Also, another question (I'll buy y'all a dinner when I get there!) I don't see any homes really close to the beach in all my internet searches. If you can find one, I'd love to see it and of course learn how much a sea view costs.

House #1: Water tank ... Where does the water come from? Is there a water utility company in Thailand? Or is there a well? Or does a tank truck deliver it? For how long can you take a shower or run washing machine before you run out of water? House #2: Do you have to pay extra to use the "community" pool? Who owns it? How much$? All the houses: They're so close. I guess the only way to be far enough away from the next building so your neighbors can't look in your windows is to live in a high-rise.
@Rides4Kickz3 жыл бұрын
yes, even in better neighborhoods the houses would still be considered somewhat close together, that is a thing here. To my understanding, the city water fills the tank and the pump provides the water pressure to the house. The tank can always be filled by a water delivery truck as well. Monthly maintenance fee or like a HOA fee would cover use of any communal amenities like swimming pools.
