Bamboo Scaffolding. Remember being out in Hong Kong, late '80s, when the Bank of China skyscraper was being build. 72 floors, 300+m high. Completely surrounded in Bamboo Scaffolding, amazing site. Still standing today. 2nd tallest building in HK.

Hi the Swimming pool in the LK President is NOT on the higher floors but at the basement level. What you pointed on was actually a bigger terrace/balcony. You can see that really nice from one of the suites above that.

The pool in the LK hotel there on 3rd road is located on the ground floor. The area you were pointing at is a patio area outside the gym. Some great views over the city from there, lovely at sunset as you can imagine.

Just do it, my friend asked me to go for ten years and I didn't then finally relented and I've been going for the last 7/8 years now two times a year and it's brilliant. I go Sometimes March and Xmas and other times June and Xmas and have never had a bad time. Hope you get booked up one day.

I think because it's not as widespread, alcohol is just accepted as normal, I personally have never tried it and it doesn't interest me but I'm definitely on the side of making it legal and letting people have the choice whether that's in Thailand or the UK

Talking of haircuts, just as you turned off Buakhao onto Chalerm 13, you need to try Pulisar Barbershop. Ask for Bip. She's so gentle with clippers and razor, she's sends me to sleep! A new place opened in Xzyte recently. Not my thing, but Pattaya Dart Centre might be interesting for guys handy with the arrows.
