If you are miserable in your sixties in your home country, you will be miserable elsewhere too. Happiness does not come from having sex with girls who could be your grandchild while drinking the entire night, besides that, it's bloody hot and most of the year very much polluted too. The refreshing Sea is a sewer and for the remaining part: "You pay they smile" There are tons of people happy in their own little street with their Grand Kids and Children somewhere in the UK, they receive true love and like the security of family around. However, everybody should try, since only then do you know.

I’m 40 and I already learnt no one cares about yow unless there is something of value you bring to them. That means that 99% of people you meet in life don’t care about you really. They will complain that you are going to Thailand to ravage the girls. But they’ll forget by next week because they never cared about you in the first place . That includes your friends and some family members. My regret in life is I use to care about what people thought abo it me. And I didn’t date certain girls in fear of what would people think. No More. If you’re older 50 60 70 you definitely should bot care what others think. They stopped caring about you when you became old at the age of 30.

Not sure why 1. Never said what the man picked instead of Pattaya. 2. Buzzin seems to paint all Thailand with same stigma opinion. 3. I do agree the entire Pattaya seems to be judged by soi 6 or something. I was north Pattaya, nice, just not for me. 4. I've met fabulous Thai people as well as well balanced and grounded ladies. Not sure why Buzzin focuses on all thai ladies are same?

It's just a translation issue. when men say: you're sad for going there, that translates to : "i'm so jealous of you going to paradise and having fun with beautiful women". when women say that: it translates to: "it's not fair that you go spend your money on a beautiful young woman over there instead of letting me take advantage of you"

Your right Trev, it's not just Thailand as the world is the same everywhere. I got that stuff when I first came here 29 years ago and I sat down with a couple guys, man to man, and what transpired was that they weren't allowed to go to Thailand and were very jealous of me and basically didn't want me to have an experience that they couldn't have. Many people raised their eyebrows when I said I was travelling to Thailand and planning to retire there. But, largely, everyone has been very supportive. So to all the haters, you can all take a running jump to yourselves. Thailand is an amazing country filled with the most friendly people, stunning beaches, crystal clear seas to swim in, astonishing architecture, scenery to make you well up inside (I was tearing up the first time I saw a sunset from a catamaran off the coast of Phuket, and I am not ashamed to admit it), fabulous food (not just Thai, I have eaten some incredible Western food as well in Thailand), and above all, a champagne lifestyle on a shandy budget. You can live here very comfortably on HALF what it would cost in the UK. So don’t tell me I only come here for “one thing” when you literally have no clue. Trevor, this is a great video and you make some incredibly valid points. Well done mate, well done.

Awesome work! I've explored 46 countries and call the US home. Comparing Pattaya to Vegas in terms of "paying for it" is like comparing apples to oranges - media bias strikes again (Vegas is worse--or better--depending on your preference)! I stopped caring about others' opinions on this long ago. Pattaya, in my view, is a gem (unless they mess it up). It's not just about the dating scene; there's a world of experiences waiting in all types of ways (food, diverse cultures, tooling around on a motorbike, sightseeing, shopping, beaches, and more). There is a lot of jealousy out there from men who are unable or unwilling to move to Thailand. Retired 56 year old Canadian, been here years, met my dream lady not in a bar here, cost of living easy half of Vancouver. Love it here. You do you. I do me. Don't judge.

Well said Trevor. If you’re not harming anyone you can do what you want in life. I’m 56 and retired. I love Thailand and I couldn’t give a toss what people think. Thailand has everything that makes me happy. Hope the bar is still doing good. 👍🇹🇭

@@Buzzinpattayaguess this channel is beer and bar girl focused which is great for those interested. I went rural at 69, with a backpack, and found a beautiful kingdom with great people. No judgment, just saying there are many places in Thailand and we can all pick what suits our fancy

Hi Trev I came to Thailand for the first time in 2003. I was 30 and just had an MD from the RN I came over with 3 mates 40, 60 & 65. I had a ball and never once hid from anyone what I was coming over for (Tourist sites and water sports 😂) I came back the following year and met the love of my life we have now been married 17 years and have 2 kids. I brought my mum and dad over both late 60’s at the time and they loved it. They have both been back about 15 times now. To your man that is being pressured into not going ignore them and get yourself over you will have a ball.

Yes I have had jokes aimed at me, but underneath they were serious. I've even experienced it in Thailand when working. Many Thais do not like Pattaya and speak badly about it especially the farangs that go there. So much so that I stopped saying I lived in Pattaya and changed it to Chonburi or Eastern Seaboard, as my house is outside the city over the darkside. Not think it will change in my lifetime. By the way, I was a widower in UK but been married to a Thai for 23 years and have grown up kids and grandkids here in Thailand and really love my life.

I was in the Royal Australian Air Force and was posted to Butterworth as a single guy in my 20s I spent all my time off travelling through Thailand. Now all the married women that live around me used to comment on my trips to Thailand I didn't care what was said and what they didn't realise that there husband would come around my place the minute they left and beg me to take them to Thailand

What ever you do in life and wherever you go some people will always judge you, I'm old and ugly enough to not let things bother me now. When I'm happy and enjoying myself I will not be giving a second thought to those who judge me. I came to Thailand in April for the first time made a few mistakes but I will be back again at the end of the year as Thailand and the people are so warm and welcoming.

“You only go over there to pay for it” 🤣 have these people ever met a Scotsman? No way I’m paying for something I get for free at home 😅 Pattaya is a tiny part of Thailand, even if you go and don’t like the city then there’s a city there for everyone no matter what they like. I spent 7 days in Spain recently, tbh could’ve headed home after 5 days. Could cry in the airport heading home from Thailand 🇹🇭

@Buzzinpattaya Absolutely bang on in your description of the ney sayers. Small minded, jealous, often poorly travelled (Spain LOL) and undoubtedly a lack of funds. Let them stew in their own ignorance. I am so looking forward to retirement in Pattaya, unfortunately still a few years away but hey! It gives me the goal which is keeping me healthy and determined. Your good work is very much appreciated by 99.99% of us all.

Hi Trev, I just want to say if you've never been to Thailand and Pattaya in particular don't cast judgement. Also it was great to meet you, beer and the girls 2 weeks ago. Pattaya is a great place but take it for what it is. Speaking from a guy who has been there 5 times now if I didn't like it I wouldn't come back, Pattaya has everything you could need and want in a holiday. Keep bringing the positivity Trev I will be back to see you Beer and the girls soon

People have to much free time and feel sorry for them self, i always say fck what others think of you do what makes U happy u only have 1 life live it to the maximum,. To bad 4 that guy that he can't be free and shame on those that shame him , im moving to Thailand as soon as i am financially settled!! Trev keep up the good work and u must have dropped 6-8 kg now ? There was a guy at work who looked and acted like Mr Bean, and despite him having several trips out to SE Asia, he was the kind of guy that you wouldn't suspect might be indulging. I actually realised that being thought of like him would be more embarrassing.

What i don't like is that many people in the West have this idea that only 50+ year olds like to enjoy what Pattaya has to offer. I'm 33 myself and have been coming to Thailand since i was 21, have a Thai gf living with me in the Netherlands for 10 years now and i still go back every year for 2-3 weeks while she visits her family in Korat.

Exactly bro. Am not the usual passport bro who is broke and no luck with the ladies here in the United States. I usually have a main girlfriend and 2 side chicks but didn’t want that relationship life no more. Decided to visit Thailand this year and it was a blast. Now learning Thai language by myself. It’s a beautiful country and wonderful people not just women the whole culture. Retiring there in 10 years and taking my mom with me. Am in my mid 30’s.

I think for younger guys as well such as myself, there is a stigma for having a Thai girlfriend, especially among western women. What they don’t seem to get is it exactly that kind of judgemental attitude along with a whole raft of other issues which come about trying to date in the modern age which is the exact reason a lot of young men are no longer looking to date in the west.
