I was in Pai for New Years, 2 years ago. Eating mushrooms at a rave on the river. Lots of tourists, but much more chill than Pattaya by far. Spent 5 days up there.

Something to think about! In Las Vegas there are guys that act as hosts for people wanting a VIP experience. They charge a fee for help getting into clubs ,shows and sightseeing trip planning. This could be very lucrative for you and some of your friends. Just a thought!

Just started my divorce Mac. Been in bangkok to travel around for two weeks, however i stayed in bangkok for 2 weeks straight partying every day. Thats what you get if you are locked up for 12.5 years. I am planning to come there end of March for 3 weeks. Maybe we could have a drink somewhere in those 3 weeks?
