I’m curious, what do you do with a piece like this afterward? I know you can embroider towels, hats, handkerchiefs, pillowcases....but this is just a piece of fabric. How do you display it afterward? Or do you attach it to something?

Hi, thank you. I usually use carbon paper to transfer the pattern on the fabric. If I need to draw on fabric, I use Pilot Frixion Pen (heat erasable)

Madam , Beautiful...6 strands means double the 6 strands or double the 3 strands..

Annie PA She mostly uses 6 strands and doubles them up for thickness and fluffiness. For satin stitches and more leveled look she uses the same 6 strands but doesn't knot them up doubled but knots the single one and cuts the other one halfway. Hope this helps.

Actually embroidered clothing is fine to wash as long as it's a very gentle wash and the embroidery is well secured. Sometimes "hand washing is best"
