19:30 Make sure you're not trading random stuff. If you trade random stuff expect random results. This is something I find myself doing a lot so I just started tracking my set ups on excel. Thank you, Nate. I always enjoy your Sunday scans!

Key takeaway: @11:43 I asked Nate this question 6 months ago and his explanation completely changed my process and helped me make it to the next level. I was doing it wrong. I am still working on cutting the ones at the right time when they stop doing what I thought they were going to do but I think this is a process that develops with experience and screen time. Thanks again Nate.

2:00 The more consistency you have in your life, the more consistency you'll have as a trader. I've been an IU member for about 9mths...besides the trading lessons, this is the one aspect you've helped me get back to the most. 3:00 Allow yourself to be challenged, allow other people to challenge you in order to get a better view of the full picture.

17:20 $GME was a Black Swan Event; be independently wealthy if you're going to ride it out. Probability of such events are low, more often than not, you have a chance if you sell. Early in February, I lost half my account on $GME sympathy play $NAKD because I fell for the hype. On Thursday, I made a profit on $GME. It's good to hear this lesson coming from a great trader.

One of my favorite key take aways from Nate as part of the process is to always be thinking where should this stock break down or break out? Numerous times I've gotten into a position the expected thing starts to happen then stops. I've learned to reverse positioning at these inflection points instead of fighting it like I might have in the past. And newsletters have pony tails :)

14:37 I added last Friday a "What If" to my golden rules. If does not reach the level I expected to go I Must get out. Before, I only had an entry avg, exit and stop loss prices. Golden Rules are: 1) Only trade A+ set ups - Does it have a level confirmation? Does it have a long term pattern? Trade only after 10 AM. (I tracked my worst trades happened between Pre mkt and 9:54am) 2) Set a risk/ reward plan and follow it.

Good Morning-Take away-don't be bias-stay open minded, don't surround yourself with only what you want to hear/yes man, mental stops unless you are bad with getting out-use hard stops, when it stops doing what you want it to do, get out, always secure profits regardless of position, can always add back if the trend continues, sympathy plays are never the same return as the 1st, dont get stuck, always look at the key levels, GME lesson, let others exhaust, just capture the meat of the move, you do not need the whole move, just take a piece, stay safe-thank you for everything :) have a great day and week

key takeaway= 18:43 black swan opportunity. as trading is game of probability, hence one homerun trade do not define you as trade but the base hit and at the same time if you catch one of this big move then expectation will be the same with every trade which is an emotion and will divert you from your process. so golden word '' next'' and follow the process.

I really appreciate the talk of key levels and looking left, but when going long on a momentum stock at 52-week highs in pre market, how much higher can it go? I've been taking some of the move in pre market because they always seem to fade at the open. And then someone sends out a press release around 9:30am and another stock is moving; and again at 12:30p. It's fun, but I always seem to miss the parabolic movers that run $5-10. Where do they come from?

@jessicapatrick5206
@jessicapatrick5206 3 жыл бұрын
The math is easy. IF we assume that ALL these money will be spent, but NONE of the businesses will expand to satisfy this increased demand, THEN we have 10% more money competing for the same amount of products and services. This means 10% inflation as WORST CASE. This is total excess inflation, not per year. Not the end of the world, we can manage it.
