I use to consider myself great at Christmas tree decorating. Then a couple years ago I saw your videos. My A decorating went to a C (at best) but with my standards raised, I’m again reaching for the A. Thank you for teaching us that it’s not just luck that puts a tree together. In California I went to cosmetology school graduated then I decided I wanted to be a florist graduated then I decided to be a truck driver and graduated then I moved to New York and went to design school, had my own floral shop for 10 years, when my husband passed away I couldn't do it anymore..now, I decorate other folks houses in Oklahoma..

I could kiss you and slap you😉😉 10 yrs ago my ribbon was a disaster. I studied all your videos like it was my college finals! I bought the perfect ribbons, the red & white harlequin was my favorite along with blk and white harlequin and red velvet with gold backing. My tree is 10ft and has spacing between the limbs like a real tree. ( would love to see a video on a tree like that) it looks amazing except I am calling it the mall tree. I almost took it all down. I am traditional and the type of tree I have looks amazing with the clip on candles and cranberries and popcorn. My gkids and kids like things just how they were from when they can 1st remember Christmas. I am thinking maybe just 1 harlequin as that tree makes me dizzy. Because of your videos I was able to create the tree I had always dreamed of! But the tradition is the part I wasn't expecting and the push back from the family. The other tradition is my kids and now gkids running off when they see the big bowls of cranberries and popcorn😂

I’m in the same boat. I’ve decorated my tree exactly the same for 16 years with the exact same ornaments. I’m going to do it this year and try something new. 😬 I know there is going to be backlash but the kids are grown now. College and junior in high school and I want to have my dream tree but I also push back on myself. I’ve also decorated my fireplace the same just like the tree. I have just got it done different and it is amazing but I also want to change it back to the way it was 😫 it’s so hard and I feel crazy 🤷🏻‍♀️

Would you do a video on how to decorate a multi colored light tree? My family loves multicolored lights so I put up 1 for them. It’s my hardest tree to decorate. I watched a video that the creator emphasized using 1 Maybe 2 neutral colored balls but that is boring. I need cute but not gaudy ideas ! I think you can help !
