Can you make a video on how to add a waistband to a block instead of slicing it out of a highwaisted block? thanks a lot ! :)

Great suggestion! But it can be done without much of a tutorial. Simply measure the top edge of the trouser block (waist + ease) then draw a rectangle double the height of your chosen waistband and the length of the waist + ease measurement. Add 2.5cm to one edge of the rectangle. Mark the centre front, side seam and centre back lines as notches on the rectangle (waistband) and add seam allowance. Hey presto... You have a built on waistband.

@@PatternLabLondon haha thanks! But i was really looking to make a shaped waistband. I figured it out by slicing the notches and rotating the lines to cross eachother about a CM at every notch. Seems to work nicely when i try it in clo3d
