I completed the National Dex in Black 2 too. But that was years ago, i had to play through Heartgold again cause i lost my game before i could transfer my Kyogre over to Soulsilver for Rayquaza. But i was so proud and now all of them are in Pokemon Home. My Bonus was a Shiny Metapod from Heartgold 5 min after i got Pokeballs.

A shiny radar story I have... I think I was about 8 years old when I played pokemon platinum and I tried using the poke radar for the first time. Me, being a dumb kid had no idea what he was doing but SOMEHOW found a shiny Meditite after I think 7 patches. I caught it then my ds died before I could save.

John i'm shocked at how wrong you got it. Bro it's one of the easiest dexes to complete. You do NOT need to capture mons to complete it. You just need to have seen them and it'll register in the dex and that is enough. You can genuinely get it done even faster than he did. (also an fyi for those who just want the Nature Preserve for that sweet sweet Shiny Haxorus, you only need to see the Unovan dex which means not even half that number. That's right only around 300.) (also he could be doing a living dex i suppose which would be MUCCCH harder) and this is just for Patterz but Virizion is right around the size of a moose which can survive semi trucks. (Articulated Lorrys i think they are called in the UK) IMPORTANT EDIT: i forgor that you actually can complete this in like a day. Since we have the GTS and a bunch of other online stuff back up and running thanks to the DNS exploit run by a small group doing it for a bunch of games and even running servers for games like Mario Kart on the Wii. Thanks to this, the GTS has a funny little quirk that allows you to just deposit magnemite (iirc) and obtain fucking everything right now.
