I really like just how different the reaction to things are here when compared to the other rapper reactors (to absolutely none of your fault, it’s just funny to see the difference). Like the beginning, where other reactors actually felt Ash had pretty mid delivery and Steven had really good, especially the higher pitch delivery. Very interesting and cool to see other perspectives. If you’re curious, the absolute best according to them is by far Lance, Alain, Steven, and kinda Iris.

Just for those who dont know Alain cz he aint in the games. He's the rival Ash had in the Kalos anime and so far the only rival Ash never beat. He also beat Ash in the Kalos league finals (and the fandom did NOT take that lightly).

As much as people dislike Diantha, she's probably the hardest working one of all the champions. Being an actress AND champion would give her a lot more fame than Leon receives and he's a showboater about it. Cynthia can get away to do her research same as Steven and everyone else seems to have their own sorts of free time. Try living a life as the strongest trainer and biggest actor in your region and see what kind of peace you get out of the deal.

The masters 8 techncally isnt exclusively used to refer to champions, but rather the 8 strongest trainers in this league thing they have in journeys. 7/8 of them are champions though, and Alan was just below diantha in the kalos tourney iirc. Oh also the reason ash is written to go so harsh on Bea was because she was the first person to give him trouble while he was trying to reach the masters 8 and was sorta his rival for a while

I personally really liked Rustage’s verse, it’s just really fun. Though I do think ChiChi’s verse is good, the order of the verse kind of ruins it for me personally (though I understand it is the order of the masters 8). Like the kind of energy building up from Cam steady’s and Rustage’s verse kind of completely dips into ChiChi’s verse, and that’s no fault on her since the anime kind of forced the order to be that way, but like it feel like ChiChi’s would’ve been better as the ender. Though that kind of wishful is pretty impossible to turn into a criticism since the order of the cypher was like the only possible order it could’ve been, but either way all the verses were pretty good.
