And in early routes with early route Pokemon I doubt that young trainers would be able to afford enough that they wouldnt notice losing one of their brand new toys

It might also be that entire shipments might've been broken into by wild Pokemon (their security is so bad that a ten year old needs to step up), but yeah these are just assumptions. Your ideas are equally likely

I downloaded this game like yesterday and it’s already so much fun.. I randomized the wild encounters and my Starter was a Girafarig that I fused with a Shellder to create Chompy, who’s by far the strongest on my team other than my Deino/Lucario fusion. I also have a Dusion (duskull and duosion), and a Whimsigon2 (Whimsicott and Porygkn2) oh also Blue has an Electrode Ledian fusion as a starter (cursed)
