This is said by Aganim to Link before the mid-game boss fight in A Link To The Past. Anyway, I thought that kind of awkward joke was perfect for Pat the NES Punk. And jokes are always funnier when you explain them. That's just math. Hope you enjoyed his latest episode. I certainly did!

The mechanic of requiring a certain weapon to defeat each enemy kind of reminds me of Toy Pop, a 1986 arcade maze shooter game from Namco where you fight different kinds of animated toys that are only vulnerable to a certain weapon (such as robots only being weak to electricity, tanks only being weak to bombs, and wind-up cars only being weak to giant tires)

With you only doing about one review video a year, and with the enormous collection/game knowledge you've amassed at this point, It'd be cool to see the once a year review be of a good game that perhaps isn't talked about as much as it deserves. Instead of the default "review shitty game to make fun of" style(of course there are "so bad it's hilarious" games, but I wouldn't put Night Creatures in that camp). You've always had a healthy balance of good/mediocre/bad games to critique, and someone like AVGN's best episodes are of good games. Just saying I've been in this community so long, and have discovered so many amazing or just good, fun games that I've never seen one youtube video on. I'll usually find these games by going through game release lists(sometimes by genre), loading up Everdrives and playing a few levels of the games, or browsing on ebay or other sites and getting recommendations based on your searches. And definitely don't be afraid of imports from Japan, some of my now favorite games are ones I never knew existed. They love English over there, tons of games need zero knowledge of Japanese language, Kanji or Kata kana.

While it looks good and the music is decent, the gameplay looks so janky. Like they wanted to do something like "Castlevania", but missing what made that franchise so cool.
