The Queen of Chicago Soul! And still got the voice. She was a beauty and had a great voice in her day, but things happened that stopped her career, but she could of went on to greatness. But I'm glad she's back. Singers today can't sing now, won't be able to 40 years from now either!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE WATCHING THIS FOOTAGE!! Ms. Drew did a mighty fine job. I ended up buying a "Best of" CD compilation of hers, just so I can listen to her music from days gone by. I still get all-choked up, whenever I watch this clip.

What a trip, the first time I heard "Tell Him" by Patti Drew on the radio, I was driving through Fresno! Does she have some special connection with Fresno, or are there just a lot of people who appreciate her music in Fresno? And I've never heard her perform live until this very moment, so thanks to whoever posted this video. I am really glad to know that Patti Drew is still with us and still singing - and still sounding good! Soul and R & B from the 60's and early 70's is my favorite genre of music. I wish I had known about the concert in Anaheim that is referenced above - what a great line-up! - The Delfonics, The Fuzz, The Impressions, Barbara Lynn, Patti Drew and others...this music should be appreciated forever!
