I just live Patti. Its coming on 35 years since I was diagnosed with HIV. I thought I'd be dead in a year. The social stigma was horrendous. The disease attacked ny body, soul and mind. I used to sit at my k8tchen table back then in the morning before work, crying and praying. I would also listen to Patti's concert where she insisted that we must live people with HIV. I cannot tell you how healing, comforting and empiwering she was for me. As time went on, and by miracles of God, it began to look like I'd live a long life, her lessons extended to many other affluctions, people and causes that I encountered in life. Her lesson of unconditional love permeated my entire being, little by little over the years. I am a better man because of her courage and committment to love. All this, and I never met her! Almost 35 years larer and I still can't listen to her without profound gratitude and admiration, knowing she touched with a healing toych, the deepest part of me. What a woman!!! God bless Patti! This tour (Timeless Journey) was supposed to be her big come back on the charts, of course, the record company failed her again. 20 years has passed and she still has a great strong gift at 80, but we can point to this timeframe and the following year (2005) to see her voice mature and change. Patti herself discussed talks about the decline she suffered. Like a soldier she pillaged through this show and stretch of the tour. So many things are still coming her way!! Rock and Roll Hall of Fame coming, Lifetime Grammy Achievement, Kennedy Center Honor, Medal 🎖️ of Freedom from the President etc. Long live the Queen, Miss Patti LaBelle! WE love you, need you, and want you. Happy 80th birthday, darling. Xo

@@divatalk9011 yeh but she was pissed cause they didn't; put the duet with Ron Isley the fans requested so much the finally had released it as a single after a few months she was only preforming New Day when she started the tour she would do "More Than Material" & "When You Smile" , "New Day" was the only one to last throughout the tour.
