Most of us in life, have paid the price for other people's selfish needs and behaviors. Those that, always want too take advantage of us. Unleashing their drama on us, having no mercy on us, for the things that they want too use us for. All I'll say is, stay strong up against them. Fighting back is very crucial, by not showing any signs of weakness. Those that do these things like that too us, they're pure evil inside. Nothing but greed, that feeds they're selfish ways against us. Those that, like to take advantage of people, having no mercy on us. Being strong and resilient, against those that come up against you. Showing them that, we not weak people and will fight back. Believe me, the vultures are out there, in full force. Taking advantage of anything or anyone. People trust levels, they're are way down, then they ever were before. People coming at you like, a bunch of bandits, like a bunch of thrives. Our insensitive justice, has allows them too run rapid on us. All I can say is, pay attention too your money and whatever else you got of importance.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with someone being homosexual I wish people were more accepting of this. I always wondered why Luther Vandross never married or had any children his music and the lyrics to his songs were so heartfelt…there’s no way someone couldn’t have love in their life writing the kind of songs that man wrote and sang about. It always made me wonder but May the man’s soul rest in peace he was truly one of the greatest of all time and loved by all walks of life and generations what a legend!❤❤❤

Yes, and how is Clive Davis at fault? Even Whitney is rumored to have been bi. In those days, it was advisable not to reveal that. Just like in Hollywood with acots who were gay, the Studio managed the image and worked t portray any lead actor as straight.

Luther has been dead for almost 20 years. There is no outing him out. Hes dead and his mama is dead. It's not going to affect his record sales and he will always be considered a legend. Gay or whatever. It's only the knee grows who feel that the "secret" should be kept. Sort of like they do with the church choir director. They know but everyone wants to keep quiet.
@lindariera33076 ай бұрын
If you read this right n listened to what Patti said: Luther was not ashamed...his mother was in the church and his concern was the effects his sexuality would have on her - you know many in church are judgemental. All Luther ever owed us was the opportunity to hear his amazing mastery of songs.

My family grew up with Luther and his mother did know. She tossed him out as a teen and my family took him in. She only accepted him later because he promised her he wouldn’t put it out there. Patti was his best Hollywood friend not the inner circle. My uncle toured with him almost to the end. His mom is extremely religious and a part of the church. I’m not sure if she is still alive but I think so because my uncle helped take care of her after Luther’s death. His mother was the reason he struggled and there are so many great stories about him but they are rarely told because people close to him know how important it was to him to protect his mom. Everyone please be true to who you are because you only get one life to live and it’s yours.

If she put him out because he was gay,she was wrong. She judged him and being religious made her even more so. She had no heaven or hell to put him in. That's God's job. I'm a mom to, I know the rules but he needed her love not condemnation.

As a former nurse, If Luther had followed the diabetic regimen, maintained a healthy weight, worked out he could've lived a very long life. I've worked with diabetic patients who remained healthy well into their 80s. No blindness, strokes, loss of limbs, or on dialysis and today the treatments are much improved than formerly.
