I lose count watching same collection of videos since I first listened to her few songs back in 81/82. she is a heaven sent revelation of meaning and musics in one piece!!! like mick jagger, Dylan, CCR, jim morrison etc..

Scott..., ThankYou! if i rememember correctely, Clive Davis et al wanted 1 more song for the album, an upBeat Rocker, maybe a hit. So Oliver R came up with this Gem, Wish it would have been more appreciated as i wish "Up There Down There" woulda been in '88. Best, dtf

One possible problem is perhaps Patti over-estimates some of the audience. "All that glitters..." is one half of a wise saying that some will not be aware of, and not get the meaning.

I think she's gorgeous, because conventional barbie doll beauty doesn't matter with her. Her spirit SHINES through. I fell for her in '77 when I was 16 - think she was 30. Sexy as all hell. Her spirit makes her that way.
