My family and I actually met Patti Labelle back in St Louis when I was a little girl. She was performing outside and afterwards came and talked to us for awhile. Ariel Simon Well flour and Butter, but yes! It's actually delicious! The roux, then add the cream to make the Bechamel, and then take the cream sauce off the heat and stir in the cheeses until melted. Pour the cheese sauce over the noodles, mix and bake! Very delicious and creamy.

Ariel Simon Yeah. I personally would leave out the Egg, Seafood and Velveeta. If you want to see someone actually making mac n' cheese using a roux, Martha Stewart, Barefoot Contessa, and Everyday food all have good youtube videos. The roux makes if very thick and and awesome.
