യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരി എന്ന അനുഗ്രഹീത കവിക്ക് അർഹിക്കുന്ന അംഗീകാരം കിട്ടിയിട്ടുണ്ടോ എന്നു സംശയം! 1970 71 കാലഘട്ടത്തിൽ നടൻ മധു സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ പ്രിയ എന്ന സിനിമ റിലീസ് ആയി. അതിൽ യൂസഫലി കേച്ചേരി എഴുതിയ അതിമനോഹര ഗാനങ്ങൾ ഈ എപിസോഡിൽ പരാമർശിക്കാത്തതിൽ അതീവ ദുഖം തോന്നുന്നു. ബാബുരാജ് ഈണം നല്കിയ ആ ഗാനങ്ങൾ മലയാള സിനിമയിലെ എറ്റവും നല്ല ഗാനങ്ങളിൽപ്പെടുത്താം അതിലെ ലത എന്ന ഗായിക പാടിയ കണ്ണിനു കണ്ണായ കണ്ണാ.. ഏറ്റവും മികച്ച കൃഷ്ണഭക്തി ഗാനത്തിൽ പെടുത്താം. അതേ പോലെ ആ ചിത്രത്തിൽ ട ജാനകി പാടിയ ഒരു അതി മനോഹരമായ ഖവാലി ഉണ്ട്.. ഈ ഖവാലിയുടെ മാസ്മരികത കേട്ടനു ഭവിച്ചറിയണം. ഇതൊക്കെ പറയാൻ കവി വിട്ടു പോയതു് സങ്കടത്തോടു കൂടിയെ പറയാൻ പറ്റു
