The Jon Renau fiery, how has the hair held up? I’m new to synthetic hair. The few I’ve had, the synthetic hair doesn’t last very long. I treat the hair like I should. Once it’s been shampooed a few times it looks like crap!

HD fibers do not hold up as well as synthetic fibers, but if you use products specifically made for synthetic wigs, that will help. Recommended products include Jon Renau shampoo & conditioner, a wide tooth comb, hd smooth detangling spray as well as Envy's renu & repair glosser spray are all great products!

Wigs by Patti's Pearls Extras, I watched a KZbin that said HD synthetic hair lasts longer if you use heat on it. It said it needs the heat to keep it in shape. I’m wondering if that is correct? I believe that more information should be made available for each Topper and wig, as far as what type of synthetic hair that specific piece has. There are several different types of synthetic hair and they are not all equal. Thank you!

@@coloradokid8755 Just an FYI based on my own experience! EVERY synthetic wig or HD require the use of steam to smooth out the ends, monthly! Once you do that, you should be able to get 6 months of daily wear from them!!! Steam straight, then over a cold iron for curls. Its worth it considering HH requires so much more!! Dont get discouraged....you'll find what works best for you!!!

How does anyone feel about root feels more natural? I’m not being sarcastic, I’m trying to learn. As a lifelong natural blonde, roots suggest a growing out dye job. I’m trying to figure out how that works. Is it because most people aren’t naturally blonde so “natural” would mean growing out? Please help!! lol.

That's a great question 😊. This is basically just a matter of opinion type thing and some people will swear a dark root is more natural while others are totally opposite. For those who don't like a darker root, it's usually because they've never colored their hair or if they did, they kept it done perfectly so that there was never any growth showing a dark root. Then you have the people who like a dark root and that's because so many people color their hair and don't get their roots touched up often so they are used to seeing dark roots on themself. By getting a hairpiece with dark roots, it gives them the look they are used to which makes them feel like they have a more natural look.

You can wear this with a side swept bang and if you want it a little shorter, you could have it tripped up a bit.
