Am I the only one thought that it was cute and made it more enjoyable to see her laughing at the beginning? They obviously have chemistry... which I feel made the performance seem more even more emotionally real

The question is: What did he whisper to her, before she was laughing?

This is SO annoying when you play a duet with someone of the opposite sex you like and everybody starts thinking you are dating this person because you smile when you look at him/her during the concert
@vickic30877 жыл бұрын
lol I never said they were dating. I just wanted to emphasize that I thought it was awesome that they seem to genuinely enjoy playing together!

She really has no choice. My mother played violin till shortly before her passing. She always told me that violinists that keep their chins on the chin brace don’t like to move their heads independently from the violin because it makes it harder to play. Watch players of Baroque violins, which are on the shoulder away from the face. You’ll find tons more expression

For those of you saying this performance had no emotion, you have to realize how INCREDIBLY difficult playing this is. This is probably one of the most complicated duets, and emotions follow getting the music and notes down correctly. Unless you have played Passacaglia and understand the amount of concentration it requires to make the piece amazing, which they did a great job doing, please don't judge their lack of emotion.

Handel-Halvorsen created a beautiful piece that requires great technique and what's amazing is how these two gifted musicians are playing his creation. Julia provides great emotion and while Daniel delivers flawless interpretation and aggressiveness. They are both are honorary players in the music world and we should appreciate them for giving us the opportunity to hear them play.

In my opinion this is the best performance... PS I have read some comments like 'this is not baroque style, this is not Handel'... Well, this is not Handel indeed, this is Handel-Halvorsen and this is the reason why I appreciate this performance much more... If you need baroque then start to listen original one...
