This is like...the best duet for this piece ever. They literally emphasized every part of the piece the way I personally would want to hear it, based on the first time I originally heard a recording of it. The tempo pushing especially at the end, and the prolonged hesitation between phrases (that were perfect because of their chemistry), I mean damnnnnnnn

Handel-Halvorsen created a beautiful piece that requires great technique and what's amazing is how these two gifted musicians are playing his creation. For those of you saying this performance had no emotion, you have to realize how INCREDIBLY difficult playing this is. This is probably one of the most complicated duets, and emotions follow getting the music and notes down correctly. Unless you have played Passacaglia and understand the amount of concentration it requires to make the piece amazing, which they did a great job doing, please don't judge their lack of emotion.

While the one you linked may be better in a few regards, for my own personal taste, this one here is still overall much better. I feel more passion emanating from Daniel and Julia. And you can't really fault the kid for that, he's a bit young to experience or emote the same level of emotions/passion, although you can tell he's already much advanced past most children his age.
