There are a majority of Ghana journalists who are in hurry for fame and fortune, so they bend rules, bend ethics, bend cultural, moral and professional ethics, even taking bribes and money from all sorts of sources for fame and personal riches.

Paul is just bringing dynamism in journalism in Ghana and some people do not understand. He believes that journalists should be impartial in their work but cannot be neutral as some believe. I agree with him. He does a lot of research and presents his findings and I love it. I love his touch screen analysis and it's always amazing. He does not do "I catch you" journalism but with facts and figures. Paul, I salute you and I urge you continue to work to build mother Ghana.

Putting checks on the government does not mean perpetuating lies on the government, that is not journalism, it is propaganda. Some of us are as educated as you journalists if not more, give us objective analysis. Adom Otchere, keep the good work. Damn with poor reporting and long live Ghana. I think it's unethical to give questions to your interviewee. This is because during the interview the conversation looks like it was made up, it isn't real. There are no emotions in the interview... Different emotions should seen and felt. Briefing the interviewee on the topic is better than giving out questions.

@kwaku baafi. Forget American or anybody's standard for the matter. What is the essence of asking a question? The essence of asking a question is to get right answers. if not for diabolic reasons and the euphoria to see people fail, the right way to ask someone a question for the right and factual answers is to give the person ample time, opportunity and convenience to present the right answers. Paul asked Host, " what do you gain in ambushing people? So even in court questions are asked based on present evidence that a previewed to the defendant. Well, no intelligent person will come to the defence of the host in this case when he is obviously being diabolic and trying fight a lost battle of Azure Manasse.

Paul has no smile on his face. Is he angry? Should he be angry? What is making him angry, if he is angry? If he is not angry, then why does wear a frown throughout the interview? Or, is that not a frown I see? Anyway, the fact that America does something is not reason enough that Ghana should do same. The West might have set the pace but we have a duty to create our path and travel at our own pace. Just as the lecturer introduces the student to the course and the student has to investigate on their own, so also must we, as Ghanaian journalists, figure out for ourselves, what path we will take and what pace we will go. Again, if you're running an opinion, Paul Adom, then you must agree that you're liable to be biased to the facts of the matter as they matter to you and that is unacceptable in journalism according to Kovach and Rosenstiel in their book "Elements of Journalism." Also, no one is barring you from using your platform the way you want. But you do not have to be insulting and condescending to others who are also using their platforms the way they want. You have your style, that's OK. Your style is not ok with some people, that's OK. Some others have their styles, that too is OK. You don't have to be OK with their style, that's fine. Paul Adom, YOU ARE NOT THE HIGHEST STANDARD OF JOURNALISM IN THE COUNTRY, MUCH LESS IN THE WORLD. Just as you choose your way, allow others choose their. Stop this god-factor posture you've taken in regards to the works of other journalists. And about tools of analysis, don't the books mention balance, truth, accuracy and the like? Aren't the documents you refer to the sources of information on these tools for analysis? Anyway, that's just by the way. By the way, Paul, why are you often, only ferocious when it comes to journalistic pieces that expose some dirt on the Akufo-Addo government? What about the plenty unjournalistic and unintellectual work that goes on other channels by other journalists? Why is that most often, it is underfire-members of the NPP government who appear on your show? Is that not you running a clearance or cleaning department of the Government with your platform? Does that not qualify as PR journalism? And in your opinion, if you agree what you do with your platform is PR reporting, albeit intellectual and all, is that not political propaganda? Do you believe that is what Ghana, with our democracy as nascent as it is, needs for development? And what do you mean by ambush-Journalism Paul? Define it? Does Azure ambush political officials in his writeups? Does Anas do same? Now, if in their investigative pieces, they do ambush politicians, or if the likes of Umaru and Avle do that in their shows, what is wrong with that? Is a public official not paid taxpayer's money to be well vested and abreast of their work? In any case, how do you catch a thief if you do not ambush them? Or is it your 'editorial' that this government and others before it, as well as their cronies are not thieves? Have they not stolen enough from this country and it citizens? And is that not why journalism has to pounce on them to aid accountability. I have more, but since "by their fruits, you shall know them" we move.
