I’m eleven years older than the oldest Beatle pictured here. They were just kids. It’s unbelievable not only the prodigious talent but also the Rolodex of rock and roll history they summoned on command. You cant buy this level of artistry, it is genetic predisposition combined with peerless work ethic, luck and timing. I’m ecstatic Jackson’s team gave us the definitive document of a world class band at the peak of their powers.
@theperson85399 ай бұрын
I wouldn't say genetic, I feel like genetics play very little role in it, like John taking an insanely long time to learn how to play the chords on instruments. I'd say it was more that the expression was important enough that they expanded their mastery to suit the needs of the message they intended to spread.

@@theperson8539 I don’t deny that’s a part of it, but I do think the potential for songwriting, appetite and aptitude for music is something, more or less, that is “baked in” to the individual independent of natural ease with instrumentation. @barryschwarz8 ай бұрын
If the hyperbole is about watching an iconic song being born, forgive it. if it's about someone inventing a song, it's only half wrong. Brilliant songs usually take weeks to months to develop, even years. But great song writers in great bands can hand it all together in an extraordinarily short amount of time.

And also, Lennon later wrote a great guitar solo for it and played it. Should we mention the many songs that were done with 1-3 Beatles at most?...Should we mention that John Lennon started the band?...How about the fact that John wrote an estimated 15% more original songs than Paul, thus netting Paul more money for less work if you want to get petty about it. Point about contributions made I think.
