Best singer in Australia but he sounds so much better doing covers than when he sings in something for kate

It is a tragedy this video only has 83000 views. This was my number one song of 2016. Watching him play it live a few times in a couple of suburban pubs around Australia slightly pissed and high on life was one of the more life affirming moments of my 2016. This song is everything.

How does Paul D make fairly standard chord progressions sound so fucking incredible?! He's the best, Jerry. The best.

That's one of my favourite things to find in music, dead simple chords done in a unique and meaningful way.

How can anyone listen to this song and not be drawn in to it? Sounds so good live.

I would love Paul ( for his own publicity and career) to sing a few more main stream pop songs. Something to get more fans etc. He deserves a few smash hits. I love his alternative music, but a few more main stream songs would be cool also

Paul brilliant! You craft these great songs, melodies and landscapes where listeners can 'leave their brain on the coat stand near the door' and rock out! BUT, if they're lucky, they can catch your words, and actively connect your experiences to their experiences in their lives. You're the oracle mate and I appreciate ya.

Easily my favourite track on your new record , I have absolutely no clue what the lyrics are about, but the chords and the vocal melody moved me from the first time I listened to this.- you probably never read these Paul, but you're a massive inspiration to myself (vocalist) and our bass player. Would mean the world if you would check out some of our music, and I know this is far fetched, but If you ever need an opening band in Perth, we'd be honoured.

Doth my ear holes deceive me? Video version different to the album? Also, in a bizzaro version of The Matrix, Neo is sent to find the "Idiot oracle". Hilarity ensues.

"Video version different to the album?" What sounds different to you? Interesting if true, but I can't hear anything different. Maybe you happened to hear the opening bit clearer for the first time? I can't hear it when wearing cheaper earbuds at a lower volume, so it could be missed easily.
